  1. Yet another picture thread that was intended for certain themed photos turned into long discussion about what is considered sexy, spicy, hot, cold, sour, naked, clothed, etc.

A different kind of hot and spicy from me, because sometimes I show my true colors.

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who experiences this . . .

I'll take a portrait of myself at night, think it looks pretty good, and happily post it somewhere.

But when I look at it the next morning, it actually, literally, creeps me out.

This has happened to me with most of the portraits I've produced over the last couple of years. And it only happens with closeups of myself, not other kinds of pic. It's not that I suddenly think it's a "bad" pic -- this one, which I first posted on FB last night, is pretty ok, I think, for instance. I just suddenly find it a bit . . . repellent. Creepy. Whatevs.

Anyway, it's a weird thing. But here it is.

I Decided to Try a Radical New Approach to Portraiture last night

First of all, Scy with dark hair! ❤

Second, those mesmerizing eyes! And I should know, mine draw attention!

I find it very charming, deep, thoughtful, definitely very gorgeous! One has the wonder what's hiding in the light that illuminates you so nicely 😋

  3. Poses, poses and poses. Let's be honest, not a signle photographer uses the default pose setting they bought for their art. We always adjust them whether it's slightly to match the body proportions or to pretty much create completely new pose by using the initial one as basis.

Sometimes I edit the lights of glowing objects to get warmer glow or more realistic light dispersion.
