Just what I need! Thanks Rolig

Hi, So, I made cars that I share with a few of my friends. I also happen to have a statue of a mechanic. What I want to do is whenever I make an update to that car's contents (scripts, sounds, poses, etc), I'll put them inside the mechanic statue and, send them to my friends. What they need to do to update their cars is to rez that mechanic near the car, click on it (or whatever else to trigger the action), and it will remove all old items from their cars and copy the new ones in. I know there are more efficient ways to update stuff, but I'm thinking of doing this just for the fun of it. My question is, is that even possible for an object to remove and copy items from and to another object (of course, provided that they both owned by the same agent)? Also just to make it simple(r), let's assume that the items needed to be removed/copy are all in the root prim of the car. Thank you

Update: I can access the web pages now using alternative DNS, but the viewer still locks me out. Happens with every viewer, btw, not just Firestorm. Stuck with "Logging in..." message. Seems like Tucson server is the problem for me.. If it turns out that I'm the only who have problem with that server, what can I do to fix it?

My Firestorm viewer suddenly logged me out in world and I can't log back in. Weird thing is almost all of SL related web pages are also inaccessible. From SL official website, my.secondlife, even status.secondlifegrid.net! What is happening? I tested my internet and everything seems to be OK.

Actually, I don't believe there's even a quarter of a minute passed from the time I clicked the buy button and that error message appeared. And this thing has been happening for about 2 weeks now. And, I've been purchasing linden $ using this very method for more than 7 months now; this is the first time it's ever happened. Furthermore, even if you're right, I can't see how it can be a "security concern" to tell me about it. In fact they should have told me that. Unfortunately I'm living outside the free-to-call-for-help countries listed and calling them from here would cost a lot of fortune..

Sorry if I 'hijack' this thread, but I have exactly the same problem. Whenever I tried to purchase linden $ it's rejected. And yes the bank that issued my credit card sent me notifications every time. I opened a support case but the CS was way less than helpful. It seems that LL rejects my transactions but for what reason, the CS wouldn't say for "security reason". Now if they suspected me for using stolen credit card or something, they should have asked me to prove that my transactions are indeed legal. But this they wouldn't do. I offered to do whatever process they require to prove that it's legal but they wouldn't even answer that. I'm completely at loss as to what to do now, I have a couple of rents that I need to pay in less than half a week. It would be very embarrassing if my friends find out I got kicked out for failing to pay.. all because LL rejected my transactions and wouldn't say for what reason.. If anyone can help point out any possible way to solve this problem I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you. (attached is the last post by LL's CS on my support case. As you can see, her last answer basically says "Your SOL, girl, go cry!", coated in sugar and honey.. With the rents going overdue very soon I definitely can't wait 2 weeks, and even if I could, there's no guarantee LL wouldn't reject my transaction again by then..).

There's a complete, free Sailor Moon avatar at Utilizator's in-world store. The head is pretty cute though it's showing its age.. But you might want to try and see if you like it.

M3 Venus does work with Avatar 2.0 body. Well, there's a slight mismatch on the back of the neck wich probably fixable if I'm willing to spend more time adjusting the sizes, but since all of my hair is long, I don't bother; it's simply hidden under the hair. There are a lot of outfits available for the Avatar 2.0, though not as many as there are for Kemono. However, I can use most of my mesh outfits and boots on it. Same with the M3 Venus, I can use all of my mesh hair, with minimal adjustments, on it too. My experience with the M3 Venus+Avatar2.0 combo is that they're extremely easy to use with only minimal adjustment. Add an equally easy to apply skin and eyes, and you're more than ready to go

Thanks for the Enfer Sombre info. I've been looking for some nice skins for my Venus head . So, that's another thing taken care of, and I think what's left now is to find some good mesh anime eyes.

Well, I think the search is over. I did go ahead and get me Utilizator's Avatar 2.0 and M3 Venus head.. and I'm pleased to admit that I'm very satisfied with the result now. Very minimal adjustment needed to be done, comparable to my experience using Maitreya Lara body and Catwa Destiny head. Maybe even easier. Avatar 2.0 came with a complete set of outfit, which is a good start. M3 Venus' blinking animation and mouth expressions are very nice also. There are surprisingly huge amount of outfits and addons in the market for the body and the head, but the sweetest of all is that I can use most of the outfits, footwears, hair, and accessories already in my inventory! The only Avatar 2.0 specific thing I'm wearing in the pic below is the skirt. I hope this thread is of any use for anybody wanting to get a good, easy to use, well supported, and affordable anime avatar in the future. Thanks for your helps

After searching a bit more and following the advices above, I think I'll take Avatar 2.0 and M3 Venus Anime Head, both from Utilizator. Combined, they're still far cheaper than Philo Sophia, seem to have more features, and seem to be better supported by other outfits/addons makers. I'll wait for a few more hours for anybody to chime in and probably offer better suggestions, and if there's none, I'll just bite the bullet and try them for myself

I see. That confused me a bit because all pictures at Kemono's MP page all show furry characters, but the majority of anime-style avatars out there (at least the ones I've read about) are using it. I think the fact that I have to fiddle quite a lot with it pretty much eliminates it from the options. That leaves Philo Sophia now. And I'll look at Avatar 2.0, and Riku as well. Thank you ^^

Hi, I'm thinking about having a complete (female) anime-style avatar. Not gonna be my primary avatar, just for the occasional heck of it, and maybe to be used for anime events. I tried to search.. but the info literally flooded my brain that I'm not sure I really understand the basic of it. So, I came to the conclusion that choosing either Utilizator Kemono or ASR Philo Sophia is the way to go. I'm trying to ask for the wisdom of it here, assuming that I understand everything correctly. Which one is of better overall quality (shapes, anims, etc.)? Which one is easier to get outfits and addons for (heads, skins, eyes, accessories, etc.)? Which one I can use right out of the box without having to buy other addons? Once again, what I want is a complete female anime-style avatar, the human kind, not the furry ones. 'Normal' size avi (in anime standard, of course), not a chibi one. I hope I explained myself clearly enough for some of you to help me. Thank you :)
