Moved out of a stilt house late January and into one of the houseboats region. It's small and a little hard to take photos off but I had a lot of fun doing this project. I didn't know if I'd like staying in a houseboat but I love it! I love being this close to the sea, with access to open water to boot.
may i ask where the slated divider screen is from and the stairs? your decorating skills blow me away. i love what you've done

I’ve seen quite a few old LH models that look so luxe inside with professional interior deco and would have been perfect for me if only the exteriors would match the quality.
May I ask where you purchased the fireplace. I've been wanting one like that and unable to find one.

*Sighs* I'll most likely not get the fantasy theme I am hoping for. Fairy type homes, whimsical and colorful. I just find the trads and victorians, and even the upcoming stilt homes soooo similar. Was hoping for something really different in style. I do love almost all the themes we have thus far, don't get me wrong. I even hope that they put more trad styles in the mailbox for us to use. Great job to all the moles and Lindens. We greatly appreciate all the hard work you put into SL homes for us. ❤️

It's taken me three days of trying to find the perfect spot with an east-west orientation with views to water. I really lucked out and have water both in front of and in back of my home. I decided on the Grand View for its wonderful expanse of windows in the front.
I've made a small deck extension for the exterior.
Inside I added exposed beams and a partition in the upper loft area to add a bathroom/closet area creating a nice master suite.
I retextured the Roost fireplace with stone and added a chimney.
I haven't really begun to furnish the home yet. These additions are so simple to make that I'm not sure whether or not to put them into a package for sale. Of course the fireplace isn't my creation so that for sure won't be for sale.
are these going to be for sale?
