So Inspired by the what would you do with one LInden thread, I thought it would be interesting to have a thread to post pictures of us wearing items that cost just 1 Linden. Not everything has to cost one linden, just at least one item. I will start it off here with three.

Oh wow, I am aware that the Union Jack is not symmetrical and there is an upside down, I can never remember which way is right though and didn't even think about it with the flag in a vertical position. I suppose with a picture it would be easy enough to fix, by flipping it. I will have to keep that in mind for the future.

I don't spend any dollars on the game, but I spend a lot of Lindens in it. Most of those Lindens come from tips I get pole dancing.

I will share what I do, it is a bare bones approach I guess. I use a Maitreya body with my legacy head, I just adjusted the body color with the Maitreya Hud to match the head as close as possible. I wear a choker to cover the line, actually it is a collar controlled by my partner, but it does a good job of hiding the line as well. I do not use any clothing that is appliers. I currently wear three tattoos, two on my upper body and one on my lower, and I am always looking to add to that, I am reserving the layers for tattoos. My system avatar had more tattoos than my mesh body has layers, so I know I can never get to that point. So far I have had no shortage of mesh clothing options. This works for me just fine and it is simple, and saves a lot of money on a skin and a mesh head, though I do have a demo mesh head right now that might change all that.

Oh well, SL is a fantasy land, and if that is the fantasy he is looking for he is free to do that.

Of course you will offend someone if you try to be witty, I recently had a guy reject my application to work for him as a model, because he said he had read my posts here and thought I was rude. Rude? all I was trying to do was be witty.

Let me guess, you can get on the forums from work, but not on SL, I have that situation which is why I post so much here in the evenings.

I create paintings in SL and try to sell them, I would recommend you get out and meet people, just send people random IMs. Yes a lot of people are going to be asking "what do you want" and "why are you talking to me?" but from this you will make some friendships, and the more friends who know about your art the better. I estimate that at least 90% of everything I have sold I sold to people on my friends list. There are art groups and art district sims where you can get an idea of what is out there in the SL art world. You should check those out.

I am not saying you are a bad person at all, just expressing my own thoughts on the matter. maybe I avoid getting hurt and the necessity of caution because I always hold back and never put my whole heart into any relationship in SL. That might be good or it might be bad, maybe I miss out on an aspect of SL because of it.

So true, it could be a deaf person pretending to be hearing, it could be someone with a stutter pretending to speak perfectly, it could be someone transgendered pretending to live the life they feel they were meant to live. I take everyone's avatar and SL persona at face value, they either fit in with mine and we enhance each others SL, or they don't, Those who don't I don't need and move on from, but who they are behind the avi makes no difference. One person might be totally opposite in RL from what they are in SL, but they enhance my SL, another might be exactly the same in RL as they are in SL, but they don't fit in my SL.
As for the drama in SL I figured this out a long time ago, it ain't my drama. I get drama from my sisters, i get drama from my sister in law, I even get some drama from my Mother, all that is my drama I have to deal with cause it is my drama. Drama in SL I can just laugh at and ignore.

I never voice, (see Maddy's post about being able to sound smart), and I have a lot of friends, don't apologize for living your SL the way you want. Find a niche and pursue it. I am an artist in SL, I don't know if I am any good at it but that is my thing. I also regularly pole dance at a nude beach, and I almost never even get asked to verify. I don't know what is in your profile but fill it up, tell the world about you, a blank profile will make people wonder about you, and start asking lots of annoying questions. And lastly, send me a friend request, I don't get on right now as much as I like, but hopefully that will change, I can introduce you into my circle of friends, few of which voice as well. You don't need to be alone just because you don't do this the way some idiot want you to.

If it is the unrigged one that has the issue, then check to see what it is actually attached to, if not to your head, then you can manually attach it there. it might not be in the right place but you can right click on it and hit edit and move it or rotate it to get it in the right spot. I typically do this with all my hats to get them so my hair isn't popping out in odd places.

My guess is that it is not actually attaching to your head and it moves with whatever part it is attached to, but I am not sure what you can do about that. If it is rigged you won't be able to adjust the position, so even if you got it attached to your head it might not be in the right place and you would not be able to adjust it. I would just stick with the unrigged version, that is better for a hat anyway.

Yes it is being done, but no reason you can't do it to. I know several of the art shows that Kultivate puts on will have parties with live music.

Oh I might have to check that out, 5000 was way to much for me but 1500 isn't so bad, though my partners viewer won't handle Bento, he says my hands are all deformed. He then went on to say I could do whatever I wanted as long as I didn't get a bento ass.

After I partnered my ex, who I hadn't heard from in ages, started IMing me every day. And he wasn't the only blast from the past who showed up, it was like they all thought "She changed her mind about partnering, maybe I have a chance" No it was him who changed my mind, you had you chance and there was no magic.

I am creative to and also busy with a lot of things when in world, and I to have that time I reserve for my partner. We both are on the East Coast of the US, but I typically get on during the day on weekdays, so we might not be on at the same times. If we were though it would be great to be able to check out each other's SL businesses.
