    Hair issues with Genus head

    I'm struggling to find hair that fits a Genus head, the gifted one. 80% of the hair in my inventory either doesn't fit or looks odd (even with a hairbase). I bought Stealthic Shallows which has a built in hairbase. However, others see it not fitting my head and missing the hairbase, but I see it all fine. I've relogged, refreshed attachments, removed hair and reattached..

    Is this a regular issue? 

    Genus users, are there brands that work better?

    Is there a way to lessen the top of the head( sliders aren't very responsive)? Some tips or tricks?

    What does SL sit at every day, 50k users under peak hours? Slice off even a tiny portion of Robloxs daily user base, provide the older users with a more detailed creation platform, there’s a lot to take from 20 million active users at any given time. Add that to hobbyist modelers, aspiring game designers, even just people looking for a virtual platform for artwork. Properly advertise to the right people, via the right YouTube sponsors, advertisements or twitter and google ads, plenty of people will play SL.

    I agree that marketing is needed. However to get some traction going, do word of mouth. 

    Maybe LL has not invested in heavy marketing because it's just not in their budget currently. They were also focused on trying to grow Sansar until recently. 

    Word of mouth can start to get the ball rolling.

    I think that if we were willing to tell our family and friends about SL, asked them to join, and offered to help get them set up would make a bigger impact than any marketing. 

    Person to person referrals and recommendations are what most people like. 

    So many people (not all) however wish to remain anonymous and don't want anyone in their RL to know that they're on SL.

    However, what we can do, and still remain anonymous is tell online friends about SL in places where you don't have your rl info.

    If some people have an online anonymous presence on social media, it's a great way of getting the word out. Be it Facebook, Inst, Twitter, blogs etc.

    Regarding games like Roblox, etc, those are trendy things. They'll soon die out. But, guess how their userbase grew? Word of mouth. 

    For those wishing to help grow SL's userbase, do similar things as mentioned above. Word of mouth advertising while still being anonymous!

    The Maitreya v5 Hype(?) Thread

    There's really no way (for me) to wear the BoM v5 without the neck fix because that line is too pronounced.

    What am I missing or doing incorrectly?

    Are you removing your body alpha? This is needed to use BoM and for the skin to apply to both the head and the body.

    Also, have you tried the neck fix, even turning it off may help (you never know). Also have you tried to change the neck fat?

    Can you tell me which PF skin that you use? Is it still sold? Maybe I can purchase it and try it all on my end, if it not expensive.

    Hmmm the small hairs near the forehead, they look a bit off. Is the hair unrigged?

    That establishment you went to while it may look very nice is in fact a fraud riding on the reputation and coat tails of an establishment they neither helped build or earned the respect for it's reputation. While realistically no one can say or do anything about it I will say it still is very much in poor taste and probably will be frowned up on. They are obviously not respecting Nancees final wishes by giving the new owner and one of the original founders of Franks the same respect and curtsy she has received all of these years and if I had to wager a guess it was started and being ran by some disgruntled members of the original group who were not exactly crazy about the new changes. In either case your more then welcome to go where you want, but that's the reason why your getting in free because it is a completely new and different establishment all together. At least you now know though so if it comes up in a conversation your now informed. ;)

    Here is the thing.. I am still a member of the Frank's Elite group, which I paid for when Nancee owned it, here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Franks Place 7/132/48/26 I am not speaking of Frank's Elite Jazz Club. I am speaking of a sim that is similar to the one that Nancee had for free (no group needed). Nancee had a paid Frank's (Frank's Elite Jazz) and also a free sim (Frank's without the "Elite") .. many got those two confused. One you paid, one you did not pay for.

    So, the one that I am speaking of does mimic the free sim that Nancee used to have and the name is The New Frank's Place Jazz Club. It was different and I don't think I recall that being done before so he seems to have some original ideas and I think he is on the right track with it. Over all I think he has been doing a good job so far. ;)

    I may be wrong, but as far as I know, this one is free, no fee. I got in without a group and there was no event going on. I know there are other sims that are going to be named Frank's BUT he has no affiliation with them.
