  2. Gosh, there are so many things to do in SL... it all depends on your personality. I've listed things that I love to do below. I'm an explorer at heart and love good conversations (ones that involve a variety of topics, whether deep or light).

-Look at the Events going on all over SL. You can find them via the Destination guide, doing a search inworld, various SL blogs etc. There are live events, fundraisers, discussions, story time, poetry and so much more.

-Go to game sims. I love to play table games such as Greedy, Parcheesi, Skippo, UNO,  Yahtzee. You can find them all at one of my fave game sims, Haven Games: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/DarkHallow/64/192/2

    - Go on SL hunts. If you've never done one, what it involves is looking for hidden things and getting free/low priced stuff. Kind of like a treasure hunt. Learn more about sl hunts here: http://huntsl.com/

    - Amusement parks and carnivals in SL. Always fun!

    - Go boating/sailing, jet skiiing, surfing

    - Visit various SL cities like Paris, London, NY and more

    - Learn something new....learn to build, script, make clothes etc. You can find sims for that. To start off, here are a couple:

    Builder's Brewery http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Builders%20Brewery/128/193/23

    Caldeon Oxbridge University http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Oxbridge/72/140/31

  3. Hi, I've been trying to find groups or events geared towards people who are single in SL. Most of the groups are old and no one really participates or starts conversations. I was thinking of making a group geared towards people who are single and love to explore, dance, learn new things, etc. Maybe a weekly get together. Some of my ideas for weekly get togethers are:

-Exploring themed sims (Amusement parks, etc)

-Dances (pick a club or find a place that is not busy so we can enjoy each other better)

    -Art gallery sims

    -Speed dating nights

    -Coffee house hang outs

    -Themed discussions

-Classes to learn new things such as scripting, building, etc

Of course there would have to be people interested and not just saying "yeah" but never actually participate. Are there any people out there that would enjoy this type of thing?

I was also thinking of having people who are not single join the group, but they would have a group tag that says that they are not single.

If you decided to IM me inworld, please send a notecard in case my IMs get capped. Feel free to reply to this thread as well. Thanks! :matte-motes-big-grin-wink:

  4. Hi, what is "The Trace"? I looked it up but it said it was not found.

    Some of my faves:

The Rose Theatre and Art Gallery (just found this today via a recommendation in another post)

    Elysion

    Elven Forest

    Kaleiodoscope

    Sommergewitter

    Adirondacks

    Forest of Dreams

Various sl cities: Paris, NY, Venice

Of course so much more but these popped into my head at the moment....

  5. I have a great sense of humor, love to laugh, down to hearth, caring and genuine. I'm looking for friends that are similar and like to be goofy at times, silly etc. I also love to explore, go dancing, learn new things, sl photography, hunts, events, find funny sims, and more. I love to chat and am pretty outgoing so no offense but I don't mix well with shy people.. unless you do open up after we hang out for a little bit.

I live in the US, EST zone. I'm usually on around 7pm-midnight SL time. Sometimes I am on earlier than that but depends on my day. I'm 43 but I get along great with people of most any age.

Please send me a notecard in case my IMs get capped, or just reply here :)
