  1. I have a friend that wants me to help him with his avatar.  I'm good with the fashion part, but he wants " a chubby body" ( his words).  I've tried looking on the Marketplace, but the few I'm finding just aren't that great.  Are there any really good bigger mens avatars out there?  I feel like I'm missing something.

  2. I use WinAMP to create my playlists, for SAM, but have never used it to DJ with.  MIXX is a bit complicated if you are just starting out. SAM is very easy to use and set up, especially if you are a beginner like I was.   I have some DJs, at my station, that love VirtualDJ.  VirtualDJ does cost money, though.  I have used various versions of SAM for the past 4 years now.  I was able to get the full package at half price, during the holidays.

I noticed that SAM now has a DJ package just for Second Life.  It's $15 a month, for personal use.  You might want to try it out for a month and see if you like it or not.  Here's the link .  Hope this helps.

  3. Sorry,  I didn't mean mesh.  I meant I'm not using the base skin.  No,, I don't have any of the Slink stuff.  a lot of the shoes I have don't have an Alpha layer.  They have a base and then the right and left object that is the shoe.   Guess this gives me an excuse to go shoe shopping. :)

  4. I started playing last year, then stopped for about 6 months.  I just came back and now I'm having an issue with my shoes, on my saved outfits.  At least half of them are showing up at the ankle level, with my foot below the bottom of the shoes.

I've removed the shoes and tried putting others on, or even the same shoes, and every one of them is hitting there. I make sure to put the base on and they still do it.   I have some outfits that aren't affected by this.  It's the same mesh skin, on all of them, so I'm not exactly sure what is going on.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
