MAGE Magazine is looking for Models, Photographers, Writers and sales personel. All artistic contributors will receive full credit for their work and a free one page advertisement (if requested) for the issue in which their work is featured. We also have a website on which we are willing to provide free advertising for contributors, biographies and gallery images. http://0zymandius.wix.com/magemagazine MODELS : Male, Female and non human avatars are welcome. Must have or be willing to acquire a photogenic avatar. If you do not have experience we will train models to use a combination of HUDS, poses and facial expressions to communicate intentions. Scenes will involve dance, combat, running and conversations so familiarity with these types of animations and poses is an asset. * Please keep in mind that we use green screen studios so avoid wearing green clothes or using green props that might blend into the background. PHOTOGRAPHERS : We use green screen photography for many of our projects and encourage photographers we work with to use the MAGE MAGAZINE GREEN SCREEN STUDIO iii (We will provide photographers a free copy of this studio.) We are willing to accept and publish images from freelance photographers on a case by case basis. * In my limited experience I have found the best images are produced with Firestorm viewer on a Mac desktop Format for MAGE Magazine Photographers is as follows... Images must be no less than 1600 x 1200 , Keep in mind that we use green screen so make sure none of your subjects are wearing green clothes or using green props that might blend into the background, if you are photographing landscapes try to use a 1 x 3 format, so if the height of the snapshot is 1000 the width should be 3000. If you wish to create your own independent comic book or pictorial story please keep in mind the more words, the smaller the font will be. WRITERS: Must have a sense of humor and the ability to express your ideas with as few words as possible... 'nuff said. Hi, I'm looking for a Second Life Art Gallery or Art Museum that contains rennaissance style paintings, abstract paintings and scultpures and Greco Roman style bronze or marble sculptures. Hi Matty, MAGE Magazine is currently looking for models, we are a new magazine so we cannot pay you but we are willing to teach you to distinguish between photogenic and non photogenic clothes, skins, hair etc, , provide modelling poses, clothes, hair and references for anyone who poses with our magazine as compensation for your time. Whenever I log on to SL I appear as an orange mist because things like eyes, hair, skin and shapes are randomly disappearing from my inventory. I hope someone at Linden Labs can find a way to replace the items that I have lost. my avatar's name and log on name is 0THELLA (zero followed by THELLA in caps)

Hi Citrusa, Thanks for the response but I am already using Firestorm, what i am looking for is more of a text based browser that allows me to respond to notices and IMs without having to actually use up bandwith.

I am looking for a software that will allow me to do the following... Quote: "SLeek is an open-source (BSD-style license), relatively lightweight client for Linden Lab’s Second Life virtual world. I would like to use this software or something like it to chat and organize my my inventory without using up a lot of bandwith. If anyone can send me a link with a software that works I would greatly appreciate it. (I tried using SLite but the log in function doesn't work) I also tried doing a search for SLeek but all I get are reviews and a link to a website with text that looks like it might be Korean (I can't read Korean) I am relying on the kindness of strangers but just so this post doesn't get kicked out of this forum I will pay anyone who helps me find a software that works 10 Lindens... yes that's right, a whole ten lindens!

Hi Summer, I have an SL photo studio with built in poses and different backdrops, I am also comfortable taking snapshots using available sim lighting or using the phototools to affect the lighting by changing time of day, direction of the sun, ambient light, etc. If you do not have a face light I have one that is transferrable and I also have photoshop so I can make whatever touch ups are necessary. I will send you an IM but thought it would be easier to post this reply so I could show you examples of my SL snapshots.
