But do you see the socializing coming back little by little like it was back in the day in Second Life?

Well, I know for me when I started in Second Life and added people to my friends list. I would get IMs like crazy back then when I logged in. Now it seems it's not like that anymore. I mean I think most of us in Second Life want that sociable environment like it was back in the day. And it doesn't seem like it's there anymore. But I do believe it will come back like how it was. And it does seem like it is little by little.

Well, how I define sociable is that when you log into Second Life and message people on your friends list, or they message you right away and ask, "Hi how are you doing?" Or they ask you If you want to hang out? It's like it's not there anymore like it was back in the day. It's like you don't have anything looking forward to in Second Life anymore when you log in. I am not sure what you mean the sociable is still the same as it was years ago. I don't see it the same as it was. A lot of people on my friends list don't even bother IM'ing me like they did before. I mean I do get some IMs from people on my friends list. But not like I did from years ago.

The evidence is my friends list they are slowly responding wanting to hang out where years ago it was nonexistence.

Well, I know for me when I first started in Second Life. It seemed like you could go to places like clubs, and it would be packed with people. And you could talk to people in IM's. Then after you been in Second Life for a while and made friends. Then you would get messages from your friends on your friends list. While you're hanging out with the friends you just met. Now it seems like almost everyone on your friends list you message them. They don't respond or message you. And the people that you meet now and add them. And you try to message them the next day you either don't get no response or sometimes they say they are busy. But I do believe how Second Life use to be for socializing and through out the years it has decreased over the years. However I do believe it's coming back up

I agree however, in my opinion majority business have moved to private regions to reduce the lag time.

True. I agree with that. I know for me I would message people first and we get to talking etc. and then go do something with each other. But now it seems you add them as a friend, and they don't want to do anything. But I do believe it will come back soon to hang out like it was back in the day in Second Life

Yes, I know back in the day I would be socializing with lots of people. But it seems like it's not there anymore like it used to be the socializing. But I think it will come back to Second Life someday.

I still try to be sociable in Second Life with others like when I started and knew how to do things in Second Life. I mean I could be sitting around talking with others back then and you get messages from others asking you. "What are you doing?" etc. and they would be asking you to hang out with them. Not anymore really. But I do believe it's coming back the socializing like it used to be back in the day.

Yes, I agree with you. Back when I first started SL people were more sociable, wanted to hang out and do things with you. But now it seems like hardly anyone doesn't want to hang out anymore.

It just seems to me that the people in Second Life are not as sociable as they were when I started, Second Life. I enjoyed hanging out with others in Second Life. But now it seems like everyone doesn't socialize like they use to do back then
