Thanks for trying, I feel like you're sincerly trying to help me. I did a full pc restart, I had done it prior as well, that was to no avail. I turned off my firewall, that was also not the issue. I made a whole other name to sign in with on Second Life, that also didn't work. Instead of using the SL Viewer, I started using the Firestorm one and it too says the same thing. I checked my wireless, it don't seem to be the issue, again I'm human I may be wrong but I did restart the router... Nothing yet, I guess I'm just aggravated, add that to being 6 months pregnant, so yea my attitude is just from life being tiresome... http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3363317591 I'ma try the Singularity Viewer now Those are my results...

Thanks for the post, as I knew sl could play even on dial up which thus further proves my point that it's not my wireless connection, I'm like literally so close to my router. Most wireless connections should be faster then dial up, so I don't see how that's an issue and even if it were, the fact that I can surf the web, play other games, and be online in my car, should prove that it's not a connection issue. What it is, is that they lack the knowledge to help me so instead they call me rude or continue to say that I did not listen to their advice... In which case I did just to prove it's not on my end, I'm not stupid I've been using computers since I was 5... and my husband has a master's in IT and computers, etc.

I do appreciate the help... As I said over and over its not my connection I literally tried that already, I even restarted the pc, turned my firewall off and on, turned on admin rights, and ran the game in different modes, I tried it all.... I still believe the issue is not on my end... As for the premium membership that I don't have and probably at this point never will.

I literally tried it all, then again I knew going in that it was not my pc, my Internet connection, or my firewall... Your 10 years experience should tell you that not every issue is because of someone's "Internet connection". My pc is running with 8 gigs ram, 1 whole terabyte for the hard drive, and the latest and greatest for the video card, so it's def not my pc. As for my connection as was suggested that it may be by "the community with 10 years experience" it was not, I tested that and I knew it wasn't on my end to begin with as I can run any game, games with way better graphics... and yes second life is a game it's not real...

Save your money, don't waste it on this game... and don't waste your time here, they won't help you or shall I say they cant, they lack the knowledge.

Attitudes... yea... and I'm supposed to be the "Only" one with an attitude... right? Ya know what screw this game, I'm obviously not getting any help, instead all I'm getting is ridiculed over a piece of crap game that is not REAL LIFE... I'm pretty sure this game or "second life" could even run on dial up, so I'm positive my "wireless" can run it just fine, I mean my wireless is next to the router... I played SL before using a wireless router and I played just fine, in fact my wireless was a LOT farther away then it is now "currently" so that's definitely not an issue... There is a much deeper issue that needs to be addressed or at least looked further into, I have checked all of the links provided and I've tried it all and still nada...

Ya know I'm not gonna argue but I wasn't the only one with an attitude, as I said over and over time and time again it's not my pc and my info was typed in correctly... I appreciate the help that was given, but I feel as if the fingers are all pointing at me... I'm not the only one with login issues, it's like because I can't get in and you guys can then automatically my pc is at fault or I'm just not smart enough... that's just sort of bogus to me... I guess my "attitude" as you call it is merely from frustration from having to constantly repeat myself... then again getting laughed at and made fun of isn't helping too much either...

this is what instantly pops up as soon as I type in my password and username (and yes they are correctly typed in). How I know its them and not me well for one I tried everything else and still it's the same literally... I'm using Windows 8, running on 8gigs of ram, and 1 whole terabyte for the hard drive, I'm using AMD Radeon HD 6670 Graphics Card, AMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor 3.30 GHz, everything is fine on my end...

Did you read my original post??? I clearly stated I played the game a few years back, but its whatev, no big deal... Nothing I say matters as I've stated over and over and over that it's not a connection issue, firewall issue, or pc issue... and yes I have been on games with WAY better graphics so obviously my pc can handle it, try again...

Hey listen... My ram is 8g WAY more than yours, and I'm using 1terabyte hard drive, and my graphics card is like the best, so I'm 100% sure it's on their end... like I really don't appreciate the blame game or pointing fingers, then again it's to be expected, I sorta figured someone would blame my pc, firewall, wireless connection, something retarded like that... Like I said it's not my pc as its a gaming pc built the best! and my firewall was turned off so thats not an issue, and I already did a clean re-install, yada yada yada

When I played Second Life years ago I used a wireless linksys router, nothing has changed but one thing Im now running on a much faster pc that is capable of gaming.

Well im sorry you feel like im wasting your time... again its not my PC and its not my firewall, Im pretty sure I stated that in the first message and over and over again... Anyway ima jet as I got better things to do, I feel like im just getting the run around, no help whatsoever, just the blame game... Im pretty positive my 8gig ram pc with like 1tb drive can handle a game thats like 10 years old or whatever... The PC I used to run the game on was a LOT worse than this, as the PC im using now is built for gaming at fast speeds...

If my wireless were an issue it would probably time out and load slowly, instead it immediately tells me "login failed". It has nothing to do with my wireless as I have played other games and virtual worlds before.

3.7.3.287491 SL viewer is that, that's what I downloaded. It's not timing me out, it just tells me that instantly, it's not even trying to load up or log me in.

I downloaded Second Life, what in the world is a "viewer"??? As for my firewall that's not the issue, internet connection is also not an issue, PC is not an issue, as I've ran other games with better graphics at blazing speeds... It's just telling me login in has failed... -- I'm wireless but I don't see how that matters, as I'm really close to my router

39+ people viewed, yet no replies??? So nobody has a clue as to why I cannot login? I'm sure it's not gonna hurt to take time out of second life, to answer my question in first life.... If it's a simple thing like the server is down then by all means please tell me... I'm not trying to sound rude...

Just joined SL, used to play a few years back... anyway made me an avatar, tried to sign in and basically it just says "login failed (Waiting for server response)" could it be there server??? I know it's not my PC, as it's built for gaming...
