Hi all ^^ So far, I'm quite at home in the new world...if you happen to meet me on my day off, I may wear a cherry blossom kimono and will be accompanied by me buddybunny Mr Fluff ^^ I saw nice house, but...it's for rent. How do I get a house of my own? Do I need to buy a patch of land? I saw some nice houses in the market place, or...do I need to design my own? How does that work out then? Do you have to pay per prim used to make the house? Or do you pay per sqiare unit you cover on the land? Questions of a home sick girl... thanks for allowing me... Mellie xxxx

Really? Just one IM? I envy you. Yesterday, I did'nt have any time for the ones that matter: my friends. @ Syo Emerald - thanks, some (all in fact) makes sense, but due to the "mature" nature of some of the stuff I do, I get into these "places" at times... And, what I've been on? Dunnow, there were seven IM's, some (not all luckily) were somewhat unpleasant...actually...I dont really look that bizar online...just appropriately dressed... =^^= Mell xxx

Hey all, Please help! I have some visibility issues. Yesterday I had like seven IM's to cater for, and some were (to put it politely) ... eeeky. One of them wanted to lick me...go figure. How can I make myself invisible? And, can my friends see my friend list? If so, how do I remedy that? Please help, I had to practically beg a friend to TP me to safety, then I had to log of... I dont get any time for myself... Thanks for helping me out... Mell xxx

Well, this may be a clue, I've been visiting other places, they rendser quickly and completely, so I suspect that it's the area... I'm using an Asustek motherboard, 2Gb memory and Firestorm viewer, witht he RLV pluging. I was led to believe that there were other viewers... like Infinity. Maybe I'd rarther use that one? Adn yes, more memory is required. I just bought a house (whee!!!) and am not really incliined to get out and grab a new PC... It ran smoothly just a few days ago, and it runs pretty smooth in other areas...that's a clue... Thanks for the input, gang Mellissa

i've gotten some improvement by turning all audio and media off, still, a scene will not render completely because there are too many objects in there...where it used to do that a few days ago... I d thing the "owner" of the place "redecorates" once in a while maybe some more memory...2Gb...dunnow how much that is... And...clearing the cache is a good idea, to be done on a regular base. You'll have to take in account that everything needs to be reloaded... Mellissa

Hi All, This may not be thr right place, but I'm desperate... I experience extreme low refreshes (about one second) in the viewer. No settings were altered, though. Most of the time, the place I restart into does'nt render at all, and if so only very partial, like walls that are missing, stairs that atr not there and so on... I use a PC with 2Gb memory and a GeForce 6800 card. It used to run smoothly...and I've even managed to make some friends...so...please help... One detail, I use the latest firestorm viewer with the RLV plugin... Thanks for helpuing out... Mellissa

To everyone, thank you sooooooo much for these kind and supporting thoughts. I'm just getting into SL and wanted to use it as a means to explore some facets of myself, not to get into this kind of game. And yes, the bite happened quite swift, he said there was something important he had to do to me first, i trusted him and then, the system screamed (if it can do that ) that i got attecked and lost 5% of my humanity... So much for trusting someone... I use SL mainly to make (virtual) friends and try some things out before trying them in RL... Mellissa

See, I just look for friendship, I'm not really into ending up on the "menu", he feeds it seems about 2 minutes per week...but the thought...eek...hmm, I suppose it's his kind of game... Hi Community! I'm sweet lady Mell and am completely new to this whole thing. I just got into a chat with a Lycan (werewolf? dunnow) and got bitten by the guy. Now it seems I'm in the bloodlines database (whatever that is) and have lost 5% of my humanity (gasp!!!!)... Now he'd like t "feed" off me (??????????????...) So, what does that do to my avatar? Will I end up drained? Will I become something I dont want to become? I use SL as a means to get into contact...not to Roleplay really....though I'm open to a lot... Thanks for some shoutback!
