I don't know what cattigory to put this in.. I have noticed that some people are able to share snapshots and photos on their wall inside of Second Life.. I look at my profile and notice there is a section that says snapshots but It has no photos in it and there is no way to post snapshots.. and I even have taken photos listed as snapshots in my invantory recently like lastnight recently and it is not showing up.. is there something special I have to do to get my snapshots to show up? or a way to post my pictures? well i guess its not called a wall its called a feed.. anyway same diff.. I dont know which one your watching and I just saw the link to this one so i will post my answer here too.. sorry to all that might find that annoying of me.. but here is what I posted in the other one.. I do not know what viewer you are useing but if you are useing firestorm sometimes it gives me problems and I have to uninstall and reinstall it.. and sometimes swich to a differant viewer and see if the problem is indeed your viewer, the server or something on your side.. So if it was me I would start out and test it out by downloading a differant viewer and see if my invantory is still missing.. If it loads fine in the different viewer then you may need to delete your other viewer completely and reinstall.. this includes making sure that the folders in the appdata roaming folder of your aplet is deleted as well.. Appdata folder location should be something like this C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ username being your computer username. in the roaming directery there should be a folder with the same name as your viewer of choice.. delete everything in that folder.. and then uninstall your viewer and reinstall it.. This should give you a clean install.. If you are on a mac computer I am unsure what process would be possible .. this is just my thought as to what to try.. good luck..

there are some animations that can be set to be more important than other animations.. My ao for example has a smart element set to it where it will over ride certain animations for certain situations.. There are nails out there that come with huds that will do this and make the hand position animation override anything else animating that hand.. my sister I think has a pair of them.. I can not tell ya who makes them.. but if the nails dont have huds its less likly that they will auto pose to the pose they need to be in.. like was stated before I am sure there are mesh nails out there now that are a bit better now than prim nails but it will probably not be a perfect product either.. With sl anything involveing animation overrides is never 100% and can have some issues in certain cases.

my character is absolutly not me.. Typically he has elf ears so.. My alt is also fantasy based.. I would say I never actually intentually designed my characters to be any age really.. and when asked age i typically say about 200 yr old or so.. lol.. but as for their appearance.. I would say my avatars tend to look about early to mid 20s... and I am about 6 years older than that.. This is second life.. And for me if I had to choose a life to live I would be imortal or close to it with a very long life span.. SOooo my characters are technically much older than I am lol..

they are alike.. but i would prefur the second one.. The darker hair looks nicer for what it is.. however I would look around for hair and stuff.. as a female finding quality cheap and freebie hair is pretty simple.. There are loads of freebie hair on the market place.. All you need is one linden go on the market place load up on all the freebie hair and other 0 linden stuff you can find and make sure that ONE item in your cart is worth at least one linden.. then you can buy them all for that one linden.. If you don't have any lindens you can hit me up of you would like and I will send you the one linden you will need. You can also get some decent skins for free or nearly free and shapes too.. but I find that the best freebie stuff is on the marketplace.. or heck.. ya know there are places around SL that you can get 1 linden quite easy.. or well there use to be I dunno about these days..

if you get stuck like that and you cant get out by what was stated or by restarting the viewer.. you might want to try something called an undeformer I think you can get them for free on the marketplace or nearly free.. Sometimes in my experiances I end up having to use the undeformer and then restarting the viewer again to get back to normal.. Sometimes ya have to use the undeformer multiple times too.. depending on how SL decides to treat you lol.

I have alts.. but I am the type that ppl dont tend to like.. I dont use them to cheat or spy or anything.. I look at the SL avatars as Characters of sorts. My alts are differant fragments of my personality or how I am feeling at the time.. I am gender neutral mostly and sometimes I feel more feminine than masculine and sometimes the other way around.. I think second life as being the only place where I can be what I feel at the time.. I know its kinda wierd and I am kinda crazy.. Whatever tho I do what I want.. If people get ticked off at me because of that little thing then they were not ment to be friends of mine to begin with.. My sister is the same way as me she tends to be on the neutral side as well and has a female and male alt as well.. My friends know my alts. I am not trying to hide them.. I think as long as you are honest with your friends and let them know .. they are typically ok with it.. if they are actually friendship matieral that is.. What I don't like is the places that offer jobs that make you proove your actual gender by using the mic.. It shouldn't matter because its second life.. but for some it does matter.. If you tell them you are actually gender neutral they dont give crap.. you get excluded anyway if your on an phisically oposite sexed avatar.. Crazy world we live in.. Anyway It shouldn't matter if ya have alts or not.. so long as you are not useing them for cheating or spying or something evil it should be fine.. and also make sure if there are any love interests to let them know righ away of your alts and your phisical gender because not doing so would be deceptive to the person interested....

My textures will not bake all the way.. ESPECIALLY the skin.. My avis skin just wont bake.. my graphics is on high.. I have not noticed any baking problems till just last night .. tho I have not been on SL in a while before last night.. does anyone know what is going on here? I have cache size at 1024 mb.. I have bandwidth at 2000 kbps..
