I think the better way and the most fair way is pay for a quantity of impression in homepage or category. With a price per impression, it is easy, clear, all products from all vendors have the same luck. And we know what we buy in term of ads. Marketing need invest, it is true and I can understand that and I am ready to pay for that. But pay the price as other for less result certainly not !!! In addition, what is it more difficult to develop an obscur system based on random or pay a quantity of impression ? For sure the pseudo random system, more easy to mask the bad side .

I think it is easy to make marketplace as other 3D marketplace. It is the first time I encounter a problem like this. But, I can forget how LL play with vendor. But not the fact they never answer to my email and ticket. Because I translate this by "Mitsuko for us you are nothing" it is an unbearable lack of courtesy.

2- Now we are arrving to the LL conspiracy.... they are giving hand to big brands for killing small ones.. Not kill, but I think the rules are not the same, no problem, they just have honesty to say it. In addition, if they laught, and I hope it is not the case, I can understand why the number of salary decrease ! Laught of customer ... sure it is a fine way to go up ... So I think not, they surely don't read this topic. And if they read it, they surely not laught. So no Mitsuko, this is not a conspiration, bec for this they should have more skills and more projects for sl than what they have. This is just bad management, and prob incompetence. And I believe really that probability depend of factor as money spend in classified, ads and so one. (no publicity '_' ) And concerning my outfit in mesh I will purpose it outside second life rigged for opensim ... but for sure it is compatible. ^^ It is the good point with mesh, marketplace and have a land is now not mandatory ! And Google are enough and certainly more fair !

Perhaps I am in wrong way but bot are forbidden no ? Of course I make shopping sometime, and I saw many shops use pseudo manekin, in fact true bots. But it is forbidden by the TOS no ? I am in wrong for sure, if you spend 20000 l$ / week in classified, you have the right to use bots ^^ It is the variable geometry of TOS ^^

I am not sure it is a problem of how think LL management, but how they calculate in fact. In my side I think it is cynicism no more and they create illusion to make believe anybody have same luck or just luck. It is not the case, the luck is calculate and criteria can be only how many L$ you spend. I think it is sort by : how L$ spend in 1 : classified 2 : ads, subscription 3 : land 4 : number of products ... perhaps after they apply a weighting factor, and that calculate how many time your product appear or a probability. It is so easy to make it.

It is why the regulation system is design to improve vendor visibily, when they spend plenty of money on ads and classified. But of course, LL can't make for ads on marketplace the same system for classified. So they create an illusion of equality with same price for subscription, and when illusion doesn't work they invoke bugs ...

Regulation on marketplace, masked by pseudo bugs, have one goal keep up shop spend many money on classified, ads and land. No more. And I can say now it is well done.

To return to the primary subject : "regulation of sl market", I will try to explain in what I believe about marketplace : it is impossible that developers of second life lost their skills when they work on marketplace. They prove they are nice developers. So bugs are not true bugs, but just a mask for another thing. So yes marketplace is under heavy regulation but regulation to create unfair condition except for big shop. I am sure of that now. The pseudo random system is a fake, there are no random system, just an algorithm that calculates how much impression will be available based on several criteria, number of products, how money spend in ads, how manoy spend spend in classified, size of land, and so one. but they have the cynicism to make same price to everyone ! Concerning support, it exist only if you an enough size. I have a half full sim, I can proof I use legal software, I have premium avatar, I spend many money here, and in 28 ads too, in classified too. That's not enough. I would noticed that. So yes there are a true regulation, but not in the equity sens. For example, how explain you can have two products with same UUID on marketplace ??? this will be a good regulation, for example. Another example, how explain anybody can have a shop on marketplace without any verification elementary, as premium avatar, just for the open the shop, in the first month. It will be a good filter no ? To conclude in my side, this my best advise for Linden Lab, to improve cynicism at the maximum level. When avatar login on marketplace and check if their products appears, I suggest to LL to modify a little the algorithm and check the name in the login and if the avatar have a shop on marketplace with adds in progress. If the check show that avatar have shop and ads, I suggest to LL to force the show of product on homepage. So the avatar will have the illusion to believe ads subscription works ! not necessary to thanks me LL for this awesome cynicism idea.

Yes I agree with you the fact it is better to create a topic on marketplace section. But to reput exactly the subject, and perhaps the title is not precise enough, the problem is : I have a problem with marketplace, visibly I am unhappily not alone in this case. And the subject is : why LL doesn't answer and try nothing to correct it or just help. it is a subject around courtesy and how LL consider people here. Marketplace problem is just the reveletor. It is more that just a marketplace problem, it is a problem of courtesy , and for me it is really sad

I just take an example to show free fair market doen't exist here, no more. And yes morality, probity, and sens of equity are totally outside. So, I am in true when I think without their values a system represent nothing and have no value, so it is why it is good to sell for nothing in nothing ...

It is just an advise, but if your real life don't depend of revenue from second life, sell all your products for 0 l$, break the market, try to sell service and try to innovate and relaunch market with an innovative product. I am sure that make a good lesson.

The size of my enterprise is out of question. I pay for a half page, for example I have a half page. And other enterprise that pay for half page have a half page too, of course. Here, LL present the marketplace system as a fair system, where anybody have the same luck. It is totally false, and in addition it is plenty of bug. Now do you think magazine will have any luck to sell space for ads, if magazine decide it is a lottery ? for sure nobody will pay for that. If curtomer pay for a half page on a magazine and magazine put the ads on a small corner, the magazine will receive a phonecall quickly ... Here space is variable, time is a buggy lettery, and because I am small support don't answer ... I don't know any entreprise work as this
