  1. Where lounge lizards and kitty cats come for a laugh and stay for the free... err, drinks... Lizard Lounge is an adult lounge for the open-minded and free-spirited. We're now looking for fun personalities to grace the stage every now and then. The stage has dance poles etc. gadgets so it's ideal for exotic dancing but if you just want to dance and have fun with cool people and keep your clothes on, that's fine too. Lizard Lounge is cool like that; we know that Second Life is supposed to be fun, and not a virtual bootcamp with 500 rules and a boss with a stick up their... you know what... And that's why we won't require you to voice / scent / brain verify, nor to do a minimum weekly hours. We don't care who you are in real life. This is called Second Life for a reason... All we really want is that you're an adult (it's an adult sim, so by entering you're verifying that you are of legal age in RL), and a fun person. An attractive avi is a plus but we understand that not everyone has 10k to put into their appearance. The sole purpose of getting dancers is to have fun, entertain our visitors, and make the place that much more alive. Oh and yes, you get to keep 80% of whatever tips you make. The remaining 20% goes into polishing the poles and scrubbing the stage. Interested? Send me (Nancy Toocool) an IM in world and come check the place out: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/TSUNAMI%20BEACH%201/213/66/3003
  2. MJ's Burlesque Review is looking for new dancers! ------------------------------------ Founded in early 2012, MJ's Burlesque Review is known for its refined, hand-crafted dance shows and a style unique to the adult show world of Second Life. We do classic and modern burlesque shows in a 1920s setting on an adult sim. We value team work, creativity and an eye for detail. To expand our club, we are now looking for new dancers. You can be an experienced show dancer or new to the field. Either way, we will help you get started and provide you with our support. We are a team of professionals and we are known of having high standards, but as long as you possess the right kind of mindset and you are creative and willing to learn, you are what we are looking for. We require that you know at least the basics of SL building and can emote in English. If you are very new to SL show dancing, you will also need to be able to invest in a few dance animations, a HUD and whatever props and outfits you might need to get started. If needed, we are more than willing to guide you on how to create a full show number, but we will not do the whole shebang for you. If this caught your fancy, please contact Nancy Toocool in-world for any inquiries and application forms.
  3. Urgent! I'm looking for a DJ to play a two hour set in an adult themed (nudity most likely included) party TOMORROW FRIDAY AT 4 PM SLT. The style of music can be anything as long as it's sexy and uplifting. My personal preference is something more electro/indie, but anything goes really, as long as it puts people in the mood. Must have own stream. The ability to voice is a huge plus. There's also a chance for a more regular DJ'ing position if you will. You'll get 100% of the tips plus a little base salary that's negotiable. IM me (Nancy Toocool) your info. Oh and hurry! Since this is urgent, I really don't have time to wait. The first suitable candidate gets hired! <3

  7. Oh wow. Some people can't understand humour/sarcasm... Stares at SweetLadyMell with an expressionless face. Smiles at SweetLadyMell and congrstulates her for such an insightful post.
  8. I always used to call one of my ex boyfriends Silly Rabbit. I don't remember why, but I started to call him that when he was being a little stupid, in the cute way, like "Aww, Silly Rabbit, you put your feet in the shoes, not your hands..." Another one I called Spinach Noodle. One of my ex boyfriends always called me Mamacita, but I guess that's because he was a latino? Oh, and one who was not really a boyfriend but a regular acquintance used to call me Nancy Pants, or just Pants for short, but I'm not sure if that really was a love name :matte-motes-bored: I hated it. Oooh, and one special person who has been in my slife for almost three years occasionally calls me Sugar **bleep** :matte-motes-bashful-cute:
  9. I agree with what Amethyst wrote above. The relationship seems to have started the wrong way, completely. Anyway, I'd like to add that you shouldn't say deep stuff like that if you don't mean it (referring to the "I can see myself being yours and you being mine"). Even if it's just SL, and, well, because it is SL, where any intended tone of joking or sarcasm will most often go unnoticed (especially in written language), and where some people take things very seriously. I'm not making any generalisations now, just speaking out of my own experience, but I would say that among others, SL attracts a great deal of people who need some sort of shelter or comfort from RL - that can many times mean that they are mentally unstable (your friend sounds like that). So I'm always being extra careful with how I treat people I don't know very well in SL, because on the one hand, they may misinterpret whatever I say, and on the other hand, I rarely know who I am really talking to and more importantly; what kind of a state of mind they really are at that exact moment.
  10. I don't know that hairstyle, but since you're not getting any responses to this post, I'd contact Delirium Sol (the creator/seller of that outfit) and ask what hair is used in the vendor pic. You never know, she might reply. Some people are nice like that. Worth to try.
  11. Belleza has the Lola appliers for their newest skins.
  12. It's just a socially more acceptable (is it?) form of prostitution.
  13. You might want to take a look at "Inworld Employment" on this forum. Lots of available SL jobs in there. Good luck!
  14. Haha, cuddle buddies... I love that concept.
  15. Well my view is this: If you're not drawing a line betwee RL and SL (and even if you were) and you're having a partner or several in SL whilst partnered to only one person in RL, you're already living in polyamour. Anyway, as long as you're not hurting anyone with your actions and as long as everyone's on the same page, it should be all good. On a more general note, I have received some pretty interesting IMs due to this posting and for just being a member of certain in-world groups. It seems people view the idea of "sharing" or polygamy very differently. Nothing wrong with that, but it sure is interesting. Oh and I'm still looking to meet more like-minded people :matte-motes-kiss:
  16. Oh, my (s)life is filled with unexplained mysteries! :matte-motes-big-grin-wink: Anyway, that's a nice idea for a group.
  17. Thank you for your reply, Freya. I'm glad to hear that there really are people in a plygamous (or polyamorous) relationships in SL. And yes, I agree that the best way to find the right people is to let it just happen naturally rather than forcing some people in to roles they might not even feel comfortable in. That's one of the reasons I started this thread, to map out if there are like-minded people, and to simply just let things evolve from there. To answer your questions: I think whichever feels best for everyone involved. I guess a free-forming solution would be easier, and a more realistic option, and I have no objections to that. But on the other hand, if "the perfect" group was to form, a group in which everyone is on the same page and satisfied with the arrangement, and wanting to "close" the relationship, then I'd be happy to do so. I'm not sure what you mean by this question, but I am not mixing SL and RL. If someone in the group wants my acceptance of them being married or something in RL, then they shall have it. I would be happy if everyone involved were happily in love with each other, but since I am primarily looking for a relationship, in which I would be the only female, I suppose that scenario is not the most realistic one (unless all the men were bi, which would be fine by me - or they could also love each other in that friend/brother sort of way). That being said, I have nothing against an arrangement where I am the central person (but if I had to choose, I guess I'd prefer the equally shared love option). I don't think jealousy belongs in polyamory. Of course, people feel what they feel, but I would try my best to make everyone feel good in the relationship. The main thing is that everyone is on the same page, and that they love, understand and trust each other. That alone would probably weed out most of the jealousy.
  18. Thank you for the recommendation. I'll check out that place
  19. I just wanted to see if there are people in SL that are interested in a long-term, polygamous relationship, in which all of the pariticipants are at least aware of each other (I don't mean they all need to be in love with each other equally, but understand there are several people involved in the relationship). I've found some groups in-world, but those are mainly for one night orgies... I have also found some bdsm type solutions, in which one Master/Mistress has several subs, but that's not quite what I mean either... Anyway, if there are like-minded people, drop me a line in-world. I won't bite, unless asked to. Oh and just to make it clear: I'm fantasizing about having a MFM relatioship but am open to all sorts of ideas.

  21. I may be wrong, but I guess this should be in "Inworld Employment".

  23. Mike Reaves wrote: Sadly, most of those people are not talking in private, just alts trying to cheat the party's prize. It's very disappointed how hard nowadays is to meet nice people to talk o make just friends, seems people in SL are just looking for money or sex. Yes, you do have a point there, but let's not give up I like to think there are still genuine people in SL (and not just on these forums), who truly enjoy meeting new people in-world and so on.
  24. Hi there and thanks for your suggestions! I have tons of hobbies and jobs in SL: creating and performing in burlesque dance numbers, photography, building (to an extent), and I've been working at various clubs as a dancer and a hostess, and at stores as a sales representative and photographer, I've rp'd on a few sims as a waitress in a restaurant. The problem is, I rarely actually meet-meet anyone like that. I don't know why that is. Maybe because it is a "job" or a hobby, so there's a certain level of professionality, or client - service provider feel to it. What I really was after in this post was a place where people go to meet others per se - where meeting others is the main function. I know several places like that exist, but they're usually either too sex-oriented or those super formal ball rooms. I don't know what I'm looking for to be honest. There used to be a lovely philosophical discussion group in SL that I enjoyed a lot, but it withered away. I've also been to a few lovely cafés where people just sit and mingle (as opposed to dance on the floor without interacting), but the problem is that most of those places are empty. You do have a point though: Many of the most interesting people I know now, I have found "by accident", via a hobby or when I've been doing something else than looking for new people to meet. But that's like one in a million...
  25. Thank you for your kind replies I had never thought of sports events (unless you count dancing as such, ehehe), I'll have to check it out. It's wonderful to see that SL still has lots of surprises for me. I didn't even know there's wrestling events in SL! Falejvi, is the city you mentioned called Dead End? That's a pretty popular urban rp (I'm a member there already). Celestiall, I sent you an IM, talk to you later And yes I remember seeing you in our shows.
