Recently an article on the Wall Street Journal online - titled Practice Personalities: What an Avatar Can Teach You - talked about how our avatars can teach us about ourselves. We asked others how their Second Life avatars had impacted them and got some amazing stories in the comments on our Official Facebook page. There are some truly amazing and inspirational stories that were shared and I wanted to ask the same question here on the forums. How has your Second Life avatar impacted your life?

Thank you for all of the great suggestions. We definiately would like to add to the types of avatars and things you see not just on the MP banners but in other areas as well and the categories have some great examples where we might be able to branch out a little without excluding those who have more general interests as well. I am passing along this information as well as encouraging our designer to review this thread as well, so please keep the suggestions coming!

Are you age-verified and electing to include adult maturity rated items in your Marketplace search? If not, I will certainly pass this along to the Marketplace team.

An Update: I just heard back from the forum software company and they are aware of the issue (not just affecting this community) and are working on a fix. No ETA as of yet, but it is being worked on and should be resolved soon. I am already seeing some evidence that some of the issues appear resolved. Best regards, ~Xiola LInden
