I had some issues with potential terms and conditions violations earlier with this product, particularly the main image... So, I bought this script from him, and right inside it says it's someone else made it and intended for it to be free, he didn't even bother to change it. And it was supposedly an item rezzzer, but it's a damn landscape rezzer. I want my money back and want him banned, or at least removed from the market. Hello, I made a post earlier asking if it'd be a cool idea making our own SL game like pokemon that uses breedablish monsters that you can catch, buy, train, sale, breed, fight, etc. I would love to see such a game in SL and would like to get a group of people together that feel the same. I need a FULL PERM script that makes it so when someone clicks on an item they are presented with a menue (preferably multi page capable menue) showing a list of the items contents. Then when the person selects one of the items it rezzes on top of another object (say a tabel). Most importantly the orgibinal object needs to de-rez when a different item is selected from a menue and rezz's in the same place... preferably there would be an un-rez button in the menue to. PLEASE help me with this!

I like your answer, it made me smile... And I can charge 500 because I spent a lot of time finding bugs that arrise when you bring such a device into SL, writing instructions on how to avoid these, trouble shooting some for the buyer before hand, am continuing to improve it and send previouse buyers the updates, because not everyone is capable of building even a simple version, the time I spent on photoshop, and the fact that I personally help people when they have issues setting it up... And because I am just awsome ^^ Also... I put the windows 7 logo on there because it emulates windows 7, just like I put the youtube, facebook, and twitter insignias on there. I say very clearly in the discription that it is Silveos cloud technology being used to emulate windows 7. I do agree that perhaps the Fully Functional Part is missleading and I see your point. This was my first marketplace posting so I am still learning the ropes and appreciate all of the comments, positive or negative, and hope to make some of the suggested changes when I update and repost the product in the near future.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there was a working pokemon game or SIM in sl? Some place where you can go and catch Pokemon that are the similar to breakables in SL, but could also fight right before your eyes, evolve under the right circumstances, and even be caught in the wild instead of bought? I guess reply to this if you like this idea... If enough people post then maybe something amazing will get started. I would love to get a building/scripting team and the unnecessary sponsors together in order to do this. And yes Innula, it likely wouldn't be called pokemondue to the legality issues, but the concept would be the same... We'd hardly be the first to minimally change a few names and looks to avoid copy right infringement (Digimon for example : P)

And I am aware of the Windows 7 thing and am getting on that as soon as I can, butthe laptop body was a full perm I bought in game so I do not believe the responsibility falls on me to remove the insignia, particularly because it is beyond my resonable abilities to do so. And the IP's are OK I think because I see them on adds all the time in rl... In fact that is where I got the idea for them.... Do you think perhaps ust getting rid of the 7 at the end of Windows 7 or that replacing Windows 7 with the Silveos Logo would work?

Actually, it DOES work like an actual OS. Because it is an emulator. I did not use any fancy imagery tricks. It is legit and can even save your work so you can access it later. And I ADDED those logos on purpose because those are part of it's functionality, as well as good marketing strategy.

I have 2 computers U run SL on. A nice gaming laptop and a cheap work laptop. The nice one is on the latest beta viewer while the cheap one is on the latest stable one.... The cheap computer seems to runn all the viewer versions great, but the gaming computer is having issues with ALL of the new ones. The last stable one was great till I tried clearing the system cach and it wouldn't stop crashing on startup, even after reinstalls. Then with this beta, 80% of the time I log in and crash instantly, but only at my house and other (LOW LAG!) locations. Is this just a butch job by SL?

Towards the top right of your viewer there should be a little Linden symbol you can press to select an ammount of Lindens to buy... It automatically charges your credit/debit card that is on your payment info. If you need to give SL your account information still you can do that from your SL profile.

How do I completely remove old items from my SL market store inventory? I just don't want mess ups in there.

Everyone who offers to help me with this knows NOTHING about scripting... I learned how to do this once uppon a time but forgot... I simply need to have a script code changed from placing textures in the inventory on ALL SIDES, to placing it ONLY on the forward Y axis. I am a creator witha basic level of understanding regarding scripts, additional skills are a plus. I have recently partnered up with somene who liked my work after doing a custom build for them and is backing me financially some (Don't picture bars of gold, he is giving work space). I have managed to get by adapting scripts from thier original purpose and recieving scripting help from friends to make some great products, most of which are just being finished. However, scripting is always a limitation. I need someone who can BUILD and edit scripts, and loves making them... We are pretty casual, and try and make sure it stays more about enjoying ourselves then making money.... We make stuff WE'd enjoy, and then sell it hoping others might... As a result we aren't tied to any genra of product (swords, cars, clothing, etc. MY SKILLS: I am very creative... But more importantly I CAN find a way to make anything I put my mind to. I have a simple http script that I simply need midiffied to talk and sync with any identical scripts either connected, or within a certain distance so that the prims they are in all play/display the same web media simultaniousely... I have a more complex version I'd like made, but will consult with whoever I find to do this about it. But yeah... Who can do custom scripts and how much will they charge?

How do I find out what I need to put as my items SKU when posting a product on the market?

I know that there are some programs withing SL claiming to convert prims into mesh or the files neccessary to do so. However, at least some of hese programs (The ones I know of) can't handle sculpties, or even a lot of spheres... I was wondering if there was such a program out there that could handle sculpties.

I bought a full perm item, and modded it with scripts and textures that make it do slide shows and multimedia. You can turn these scripts off with the push of a button and it looks just like the original. Would selling this be stealing or still be creation? I was thinking, that since the full perm one cost $300L, as long as I don't make mine full perm it wouldn't be stealing.

This is more a comment to the first commentors comment. You said SL is like a game but doesn't fit the deffinition of a game... I'd just like to say I think that it's more a social networking website/program.... A very unique one in that it evolves over time instead of being replaced by a sequal, or recieving large scale updates on a regular basis... In this sense, it is like life, always changing... I think we will see a new type of social networl/game. with sl. I'd even be willing to say that once next generation gaming technology comes arround, SL will take it to a new level, and vise versa.

Are Magic Boxes Still necessary to sell items on the market? If so, which magix box's are most commonly used?
