Can I buy something on the Marketplace if I'm not actually logged-on inworld? Will I receive the items when I log back in or will they be lost in the void somewhere?

I had this problem. No matter what I did, when I scrolled down to the bottom of the first 20 listings, nothing else would load, and it didn't ever fill up with the next 20. The solution in the end was to uninstall the viewer, download a fresh one and re-install it. Now I find that it mostly works, but when it doesn't, clicking the Search button again to refresh the list will help.

Personally, it wouldn't put me off attending or tipping you. I might be curious the first time I see you, and I might stare or ask stupid questions, for which I apologise in advance. On the downside, I think dancers are hired to look sexy and some people don't think that disabled is sexy. (Counterbalanced by those who have a fetish for amputees). On the upside, if the rest of you is sexy enough, people aren't going to be looking at your arm.

I love craft beer (we tend to call it real ale here in the UK and the two terms don't quite overlap but mostly its the same thing). What I would love to find in SL is a pub-type atmosphere, where people drop in at any time (no set event times) and actually sit and chat, as opposed to dancing, "best in" events and pages of gestures scrolling up my screen. I got a notecard from someone thanking me for a purchase and telling me that one of the items I bought was faulty and she was sending me a replacement. Now I was confused because I have never purchased the item she's talking about, or anything else from her. (I'm new and the only things I have bought so far is skin and hair, and she was talking about shoes). So I logged in and there's an inventory offer for her, but it's not a pair of shoes, it's a junkmail notecard advertising her stuff. Is this something that ought to be AR'd, or should I just delete the notecard and forget about it?

I am getting spams every 10 minutes or so from a person I can't locate. I have tried an Abuse Report but I guess these things take time and in the meantime I'm still getting multiple spams off this idiot. People tell me to mute him but I can't fiond out how to do that on the newest viewer. There is nothing in the profile that allows me to do that. I keep getting told that there are buttons on the profile or buttons on the IM window but there aren't. I just get "Offer teleport", "Call" "Map" "Share" Pay". If I right-click an avatar I can see, I get Mute as an option in the right dropdown but how do I mute someoen who is not near me? Is there a way at all? (PS I am using viewer 3.2. Please don't answer for any other viewer because everything else seems to be very different from this one). Valerie, none of your methods were any use because the spammer wasn;t near me, the avatar wasnt visible, it did not show on Nearby People and it was in IM, not in local nearby chat or voice. I did explain in my question that I was unable to see the avatar that was spamming me. However Matty's methods worked. Thank you Matty.
