  1. $25 a month is definately not the cost of a full mainland sim. at that price, sounds liek you just own a parcel (small portion of a sim) and in that case, you will definately not have any sim rights what so ever (meaning you cannot restart it yourself, etc). And if you are paying your $25 a month directly to Linden Labs using your paypal or credit card, etc.. contact live support to request a restart or submit a support ticket, however the fact that you own just a tiny portion of a sim, LL will most likely not act upon your request unless your neighbors in the same sim also complain as well. However if you are paying for your land by transfering Linden to an individual, paying it into an object inworld (i.e. rental post/box) or transfering money over paypal to an individual's account. then you are definately renting the land through someone else and do not actually "own" the land, in which case, you may not even have basic parcel management (i.e. about info, object rights, etc) rights unless the true land owner granted you them.
  2. *cough* https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7464 Vote, Watch, and spread the word...
  3. well the search scores aren't correct. they been frozen at those numbers for the past 3 days.. and worse of all.. frozen on a slow day's traffic number (monday) rather than a weekend number xP This is also included in the JIRA
  4. Well i ma not talking about those parcels who the club has the parcels connected and share traffic.. i am obviously referring to those shops that have their own individual traffic scores.. (my club for example, i cut the market parcek seperate from the actual club itself, so it's traffic is independent). Then you can take places such as Northstar mall who has TWO WHOLE SIMS dedicated to their mall, their traffic is pathetic atm (just 1400), they see possible a couple hundred+ visitors a day, while on the other hand, a shop which was only getting no more than 100 visitors show up at 1000.. Do you really think that is fair for Northstar who have two whole sims devoted to their mall and built their reputation and earned their business after years of work, to have their traffic lowered and crammed near those lower visitor count shops?
  5. quote: "Vendors don't leave because traffic stats drop, they leave because sales or advertising stats drop." However Merchants are attracted to Clubs/Malls/Shops with High Traffic Numbers.. Would you rather post your vendors in a club/shop with 5,000 traffic or 30,000+ traffic? It may not chase away the current vendors.. however New Vendors who are looking for places to post their goods, may be confused or just simply overlook/ignore your parcel due to the lower numbers. Also the fact that shops which had "huge" gaps in traffic are now "closer" to lower traffic areas.. so these merchants may instead not know they are truely posting their vendors in a 15k traffic parcel, instead of a 30k parcel. Example of what I mean is: With this bug.. 20k traffic shops are showing up as 7k... while 15k shops are showing up as 5k, So rather than there being a 10,000 gap which is clear to the merchant where they "want" to post their goods.. the merchant instead sees a 2,000 gap and just may see not a big difference in posting between the two.. So this may be beneficial to those lower traffic areas.. however for those businesses who worked hard to earn their traffic are now going to potentially lose new business to the lower traffic areas.
  6. I am sorry to report that As Of Today.. the traffic calculations have taken another dive.. 50%+ Drop accross the Grid.. those 50,000+ clubs are now just showing a measly 25k, 30-40k clubs are 15k, and so on.. I URGE EVERYONE to please visit the JIRA posting of this and vote on the topic so it will be reviewed and possibly contact support about the issue so it will get noted. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-27621

  10. if you have what it takes and are or are ok playing for a "furry audience" check out YIFF, we've been open for 3 weeks and already are the 4th highest rated Fur club on the grid (the fastest growing) and on the verge of knocking out the #3 and #2 slots by the month's end ! So feel free to stop by the club to check it out and pick up an app http://slurl.com/secondlife/YIFF/247/107/23
  11. Yep it's Day Two and again today.. Traffic is low accross the Grid.. Examples of real traffic numbers of some clubs: IYC which generally pulls 50K+ daily traffic is only showing 30K, and clubs like GYC and Yiff Lounge which pull 35-45k are only pulling about 20k, and the club I am with, YIFF which was doing 25-35k is only listing 16-17k. definately a significant drop accross the board.. especially the High Traffic clubs like IYC and similar which had 45K+ traffic. And there hasn't been a drop in patronship and as far as i noticed.. the clubs have been as busy as they been any other day.. SO this must be a new LL change or a new bug from Tuesday's server maintenance.

Please Message SorrowDragon Resident for a DJ Application, or visit YIFF and grab an application and drop it off at the inside entrance of the club. http://slurl.com/secondlife/YIFF/247/107/23 http://www.yiffclub.com P.S.
