It was more about if you come across a person and you open the profile it indicates at some point in the history of your SL you made a note on this person and it could be important (they could have been a problem at another location) or it could just be you gave them their first hair free for a store you managed (there are thousands of people running around SL with that note by me in their profiles unaware lol.
I am not really a profile looker as such some people you just go a little further etc, and then when I do find, oh look I wrote something in 2009 I am glad I caught it, but I wish I had some indicator to actually make me look, it is silly, but yeah when I go to use a link for instance and its a different colour than others because I have been there before, that kind of thing.

I do that too
as well as things like music streams I like to play on the sim etc. It has become a great little dumping ground for stuff like that I ran out of characters though

This is just a wish list, so not actually sure where it should live. Over the years I have used notes in profiles for many things, to indicate someone is the alt of another account, that someone has been banned or ejected from somewhere for some reason. That someone was abusive and what they said when they were. That someone owned a store that I blogged and the link to the post. That I met someone the day they rezzed, helped them etc.
So many uses for that section of peoples profiles and a great thing to utilise, but I realised that it would be really cool if like a website showing you you have used a link in the past, the profile had an indicator that there were notes you made on a person in the past, it would be a really speedy thing, it could also help people that may have recurring issues with an account or it just may bring up some good old nostalgia. If a little light or frame or something was possible

Unless you physically gave someone your email address I am not sure how they would be sending you anything, also if it looks to be coming from LL are you sure it is not just a normal SL Offline ? if someone is doing something to you from SL then yes you can abuse report their avatar and provide proof in a ticket, but again not really sure unless you handed that information over to this person how they could have found it, nothing in your profile gives that information.

Hi, if you use 'search' at the top of your inventory for a particular item, and the item name is not actually part of the items themselves they won't show, only the name of the folder that has that search query in it will.
Example -
Searching Maryjane shoes
Folder named Store Name - Cleo MaryJane Shoes - Fatpack
Contents - Cleo LEFT and Cleo RIGHT
the contents will not show, but will be there.
If you click the folder so its highlighted and then backspace your search the selection will remain so you can easily get back to it and find the individual pieces.

I had to make a new account a few days ago, and I had a choice so this must be very new. I just looked and the options that were there were new and cool the other day, today there is a picture of two gorgeous avatars not using the default provided avatars
it definitely is fancier looking though. Maybe now it will be like building your look as part of the learning curve, which is a great idea, using the library options or perhaps you 'buy' for free from vendors so you learn how to shop and find items you buy.

Save that compliment for when it really means something, when she know you well enough to be certain that when you go "wow..." you really mean it.
I always give them a list of the items I am wearing 😁 it isn't me they are attracted to if randomly iming me with, you are beautiful, pretty, hot as the opener. So I say thank you, let them know the stores, and tell them they too can be as pretty.

I had two cases of buying on marketplace not delivering in the past two days, first one was there next log in, the second I used marketplace redelivery and it delivered two versions. SL is always worth it 😍

Not sure about the distance thing, I am in Australia and it was happening every tp, then stopped, then randomly, but my American friends are crashing when we are traveling to same locations, at the same time...I was having the reverting to any applier changes, but not unless changes made in same session.

On a side note, this morning I had to tell my partner that me using caps to bring attention to a word bit me on the bum last night, because he has been trying to get me to stop doing that for years now. It is definitely a bad habit.

Not confusing at all...
The other has alpha yay, not really the ways most used, but included.
I also think the reason I got confused on the region estate thing, was I am both an Estate Owner, and Estate Manager on multiple sims that are separate islands (that is were it gets me) which are regions, but it sounds so expansive saying region, because in RL a region is unlikely to belong to the same person, it can be multiple towns... where as usually someone in RL may own an Estate, which may vary in size but is one connected thing. If I say sim I will always mean one unless I say sims, the same if someone else said it to me, if they said region or estate it would make me think of Caledon as mentioned, Furnation, or the old Transylvania. I think I will stick to sim/s.
Does Patch not like it being used because of the game ?
Because it is in the Glossary.

Lol I was just being cheeky with the caps. Thank you for the explanation though, I did originally think it was simulator, then rethunk it and settled on simulation, as in each persons creative environment.

I must have missed something pretty epic, but why can't we say Sim? I thought it was something to do with a simulation of land something something or other....
I will stop saying sim when SL compiles a proper glossary for jargon used, so that instead of many words we use daily having so many different meanings we can all get along.
Example:
Rez - to drag to floor
Rez - to come into focus
Rez - day you arrived in this world
Alpha - Released final product
Alpha - some guy that is better than some other guy (or so they think)
Alpha - a transparent texture applied to something to make it invisible
Alpha - the system layers that have had a portion of the SL uv made invisible so that parts of the body disappears
Alpha - parts of mesh bodies that are segmented that actually do not use an alpha to do so HAZAAAAAAAAAAA thats a mind bender right there

I thought a region was a grouping of estates ? and an estate was one SIM... I feel like I am trying to learn how to play some weird card game, what exactly is a flush ? see that is another word that gets overused
Flush - red in the face
Flush - to send things from the body down the plumbing
Flush - something in a card game that beats something else

So I tried lowering my Max bandwidth down to the minimum value of 100.I just did ~100 teleports around different regions and I still can't reproduce a disconnect >.<
I logged in, and amazingly was able to tp to three different locations, where as yesterday each tp crashed me to quit or IM and quit grey screen reverting skin applied and so on . The TPs worked but then I got the teleport blocked message and tried for each location that I had just been to no issue and got the message each time.

I have tried tping to two places today so far and both crashed like that and both times i come back my alpha has reverted, and and my skin has changed back to earlier and even a texture I put in a personal hud has gone as though not added, this is ruining the economy, people rely on me to shop you know

You sell them to LL they turn them into USD and it is the USD you cash out to RL. As Ethan said, you have only a few dollars, you need a minimum of 10 dollars and by the time you sell them and the fees charged you would still have less than 10 dollars. So at this time you cannot cash out anything.

It seems like a creator could make clothes that layer well with their other clothes.
Coco tries to make sure her clothing fits with other pieces of clothing, I like to mix and match her stuff regularly

I think all the pose makers need to start making things for Linden Homes, I want to see chatting over the back fence, getting the mail, bringing in the shopping, unpacking the car etc and so on....
