I was having a problem like that except with my mouth, it was really angular and extremely misshapen. I eventually found another viewer (Can't remember which one.), and the problem went away. Now it's back, not as bad as before but it still looks weird. I tried everything under the sun to fix it or cover it up, nothing has. I'm forced into using an animal avatar, with a head that replaces my human looking head. I've come to accept the problem, but I reeeeeeeeally hate seeing another person effected.

I feel like I'm over using the Avatar forum, so I'll post this here. Something happened to me awhile ago, and the only thing that worked was switching to another viewer, now the problem is back and switching viewers isn't working. The problem is my main av sees herself normally, but my alt av sees my main's mouth as messed up. If my alt sees it can everybody else see it? What could be causing it? How to stop it? Has this or anything similar happened to anyone else? Below - My main av looking at herself. Below - My alt av looking at my main av. It might not look so bad, but that's because I cut everything out of the picture except for the mouth. Also, lipstick doesn't mask it at all, in fact it magnifies it. ***New information*** I cleared all caches, deleted all viewers, downloaded only one viewer, made two new cache folders for each avatar, logged into SL and the problem is still there, I logged out of SL, checked the folders to see if I did something wrong and the folders say they're empty. I'm so lost.

Is there a place around here that lists conversations my avatar's name has been associated with? Last year I was having a problem with my avatar so I posted a question, somebody responded with the solution, the problem is back and I'm hoping to find the conversation.

Are your feet buried into the ground of every sim you go to? Also, when I go into edit mode to change my head or face, my avatar's head sinks out of camera view for only a second, then it pops back up the right way like it was to begin with. It's weird that our problems are so similar, yet so different. Out of curiosity, I'd like to see a picture of the problem.

I use a viewer that allows me to add makeup to my face, other people who don't use that kind of viewer can't see the makeup. Is that right?

I can't tell which wall of skins came first and which wall of skins came second, out of the two walls one left and one right. Every time I think I've figured it out, I change my mind. I would ask the maker but I'm scared it would make that person angry, also I've seen people here recommend Curio skins, so I think asking here is the safer option.

I think being a hostess is a really good suggestion. If I could work in SL, that's what I'd do.

I know of an object called Coin-Chucker, it's designed to be placed in the air above a room or area, and every several minutes it throws out into the air and onto the ground a coin (I think the coin color is gold) worth $1L, the first person to find the coin gets to keep that money. It's the only thing I know of that's anything like what you described. In the Marketplace search for Coin-Chucker, the creator's last name is Voom.

I moved the scripts over to an empty folder first (just in case anything went haywire), when I did that it left the same scripts in the ZHAO, then I deleted those. It's working perfectly now. I have a ZHAO ll animation override, and when I turn it off this is what I see in open chat: ZHAO-II: 8% memory free ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. If I hit the button twice, off and back on, I see this: ZHAO-II: 8% memory free ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. ZHAO-II: Touched. That's extremely spammy to me. Is there something I can do to reduce the amount of text, without messing anything up? In the Content tab of the Zhao ll, listed along with everything else it says: New Script New Script 1 New Script 2 New Script 3 I believe that these scripts are what's causing the spam because when I open those scripts and read them, every one of them says, Say Touched (I've highlighted the exact wording below). I'm afraid to remove or change anything on my own. Can somebody tell me that it'll be okay, and tell me exactly what to do? For the past few weeks I've been having a problem with a bracelet disappearing and going back into my inventory after I TP, I wear other pieces of jewelry and Neko attachments as well but those things aren't effected. I first got the bracelet about two and a half years ago, and about six months after I bought it I stopped wearing it. I can't remember exactly why I stopped wearing it, maybe even then it was disappearing when I would TP. I have a feeling the bracelet is just buggy, and worthless. Any ideas why this could be happening?  Also I'm curious, if I'm posting this in the wrong place, can somebody tell me where the right place would've been? To check for scripts do you look in the Content tab of the item? When I do that all I see is a Contents folder that won't open, so I guess it's empty.

What Anatine described happened to my old computer, and eventually it started happening when I would be doing nothing else but reading an online news article. My husband bought me a new system.

In some of my inventory items folders there's something extra listed, and I don't understand it's purpose. It's a script icon, then it'll say something like Rotation Script or Hovering Text Script. Can anybody explain to me what that's all about? I thought I might have it figured out but then I have a folder with a face tattoo, included was a script icon and next to that it said Rotation Script, what could those things possibly have in common? Griffin, Thanks so much!!! I would've never been able to connect the dots to get the answer. :matte-motes-frown: "ETA: And the rotation script, I'm guessing, rotated the box." I've never bought anything from literally a rotating box, but maybe that's not what it means exactly it could be more technical than I'm thinking.

I've been spending a lot of time in a certain sandbox, I log out there, and log in there. When I log in, I guess about 40% of the time, my eyebrows are jacked all the way up as high as they can go. If I try to fix them by editing my appearance, the Appearance screen comes up but is light grey, and I can't mod anything. The fix is to change bald caps, and that works until it happens again. Also I have a small amount of bald caps that I depend on, they are all about three years old and every last one of them are mod. I wonder, is it possible for another person in the sandbox to be causing this to happen, that they can deform my eyebrows only, or is the problem something else? The viewer I'm using is Phoenix. Three nights ago I logged in to a new place and I followed the instructions. Afterward when from what I could tell visually and from what I could tell via my Worn folder that there was nothing left on my av, only then did I use the Detach All option just in case. I put on a top and some bottoms so I wasn't naked anymore. Two days ago I logged in to a new place. I cleared my cache. Logged out then in to a new place. Went to The Shelter and used one of those Stop Animation white post looking things. Logged out then in to a new place. Nothing along the way worked :-( In the past year I've accepted only two things (a prim snake and a margarita looking glass) in the plain old person to person way, it happened about 8 months ago and those things were from the same person who I've known since 2008. They were worn the night I accepted them, and they've been in my inventory unused ever since. The man/my friend who gave those things to me never told me about any problems with anything, and I'm pretty sure I can count on him not to do anything messed up. And I know for sure I've only accepted two things because it's easy to remember. I have a tiny amount of friends in SL. I get notices from my groups with stuff attached. Is it possible that there could be a bug planted in something that I'm accepting? I wonder if the really old bald caps from 2008 that I'm using which over time I've modded like crazy, are somehow not working well with the updated viewers. But if that's the case, every single time I log in I should have the eyebrow problem I guess. This probably isn't important at all but I'll add it anyway. It started while I was using viewer 2.0 (whatever the updated version was at the time), so I changed to Phoenix and it followed me there.  This shows what I'm talking about. And in this picture, I even switched to an old pair of eyes that were already in my Inventory when I joined SL in 2008. I took this picture three nights ago after I put a top and some bottoms on (an old, and simple freebie outfit), but it can represent the whole time frame because nothing changed. Update ~ 7-25-2011 If anybody ever does a search because they or somebody they know is having the same problem, and they find this posting, it's been about a week or maybe a bit longer than that since the problem stopped. #1) I'm accepting only roughly 5% of group notices with attachments, and without attachments. #2) I'm no longer wearing the old bald caps all from the same maker, and I'm wearing a newer bald cap from a different maker. #3) I've stopped going to the sandbox I was using. I'm not willing to go backwards now, to try and recreate the problem so I can offer the exact cause, not after everything I've been through. I feel lucky and happy that it's not happening anymore.

I'm using the most current version of viewer 2.0. When I look at my main av through my main view, everything is fine. When I look at my main av through the view of my alt av, my main av's eyebrows, lips, and nose shapes are way off. As far as I can tell, it's only those things that are deformed. I've searched online for help, and have tried some things but nothing has worked. Using Phoenix, I'm not having the problem. I'd just use Phoenix, but my computer doesn't like it. Please help.  Charolotte, I did what you said four times, and sadly it didn't work. I also tried five other different things before that, with no luck. At least for now I've cut my losses, and am using Phoenix which is laggy for me but oh well. When I'm ready to tackle the problem again I'm going to do whatever I can, then post everything I've tried so those things can be ruled out as a possible solution.
