  1. NM! It fixed itself - but I'm still curious! Is there a Residental Manager for the Campbell Coast Community?
  2. So....... I got SUPER excited when I saw some affordable parcels in the area today and bought more than I needed. I'd like to sell one for Operation Mainland, but I don't want to do anything to mess up what they have going on in their community. Does anyone know who the current Campbell Coast current 'manager' is so I can give them a heads up?

  10. Hey! FYI this post should be in the ‘Land for Sale’ forum.
  11. I started a new series where I'm going through some LDPW locations and making stamps for each - you can find the videos and stamps for each one at the Forever Tourist Location and on YouTube! SURL to the Place to Get the Stamps (Upstairs): http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Emmelia/76/200/40 Video URL:
  12. Spooky (okay...more 'silly' than spooky) PODsCast is Western Corsica
  13. Hey! I added a quick fix - now there is a big icon with a direct link to the Google Sheet, too - that way you can sort as you see fit! Feel free to use that instead of the other formatted version!
  14. Thanks for the feedback Sam - and it's well recieved! Problem #1: Unfortunatly, the Locations are the ones that create the stamps. They are encouraged to put something on them that will make it clear what the location is so that people can use this as a tool to come back in the future, but ultimately, the Locations themselves decide what their stamps look like. Problem #2: You're right - there is no hover text and I don't see any hover text being added in the future. I -do- think there may be some value to have an easier way to identify what the stamps are for or associated with (in case the stamp itself isn't clear), and I'll deffinately take that back to the team to try and find a way to make this easier to navigate on the next version of the passport. Problem #3: That's great feedback on the list! I wonder if other people feel the same way? I'll send out a poll to get some feedback from the group members to see if this was an easier way to navigate the list moving forward. Ultimately, we want to make it easy for you to 'go to the places you are interested in', and skip the places you aren't interested in. As far as 'how is this different than the destination guide'? .... While some of the Locations on the Forever Tourist list certainly overlap with the Destination Guide, they aren't all the same. In fact, I think most of the locations on the list -aren't- on the destination guide and I see that growing as time goes on. Forever Tourist is certainly for locations and stores that ARE in the guide, but it's also for less known places too. The program has only been around for about 3 weeks and there are already over 200 locations on the list. It's just going to take some time for those 'less known' places to find out about Forever Tourist and register to get their location on the list as well. If you have suggestions for some possible places, I'd be super excited to hear about them. I'll reach out to them personally and offer them a free kiosk.
  15. New list is up! You can find it here: https://www.operationmainland.com/locations-list/october-8-2021
  16. I had someone reach out to me claiming that one of Operation Mainland's 'real estate agents' was pressuring them to sell their land to them 'for the project'. Let it be known that Operation Mainland doesn't have any Real Estate Agents and we don't pressure our neighbors to sell their land - in fact, we buy Abandoned Land from the lab, build it out, and resell it back to residents for affordable prices (Less than $5,000 L). If there was ever a project that we explored where we would ask a neighbor if they'd be interested in selling, we would always be respectful, offer plenty of Linden for the inconvenience, and only ask (nicely) once - and no hard feelings if it was a 'No' from you. For what it's worth, Operation Mainland doesn't have any projects like that happening now and I don't see anything like that happening in the near future - we don't want to take your land, we want to get abandoned land and we want to help you get awesome neighbors to make a stronger mainland community. If someone is claiming to be an 'Operation Mainland Real Estate Agent', it's a scam and if you are ever unsure if they are involved in the project, you can always reach out to me (Feorie Frimon) and I'll be happy to help in any way I can. We mainlanders gotta stick together! ❤️
