    I am still in my original houseboat that I got first day that Bellisseria released.  It is all the way in the Northwest part of the continent and I can't imagine that I will ever give that one up.  My alts have gone through a few places (houseboat, traditionals, and trailers) and at least one of them will be trying for a Victorian when they release.

    It has been fun seeing all the progress and the new themes they have introduced.  I am sure that the themes to come will be just as tempting as the current ones, but I am really looking forward to the new Victorians.

    My home for the holidays.

    I like the multi-color lights.  I used a combination of the Linden Lights and the lights from "Real Lights."  I also used the Linden snow caps for the top of the house and some garlands from Hive.  I tried not to overdo it, but I just love seeing all the colors and lights.

    I used the windlight "Blizzard" which is a pretty cool look for the winter.

    I see all these arguments concerning what would be "realistic" in Bellisseria based on the real world.  AND .. .then I look around and see giant hamsters, talking cats, a "mayor" who is a mouse, mermaids everywhere, and I wonder whey so many people are fighting for "realistic".  I honestly love the variety and creativity that I see in SL and hope that it continues.  It just seems to me that some people are taking the whole thing to seriously.

    This is again one of those questions that, unless your last name is "Mole" or "Linden", the only thing you can give is your opinion.  If you want to decorate with snow - go ahead.  If you don't like someone's decorations - AR them.  Let the Lindens sort it all out.

    I think, as we have seen numerous times, the covenant can be a source of confusion and debate.  

    It's wonderful that people feel free to voice their opinion here in the forums, but the final decision is not ours.

    This was my first home in SL.  It was through the old "First Land" program of LL.  It was 512m on a hill by the road in Cortina (one of the original snowy themed regions).  I started out there with a tiny little cabin and a few pieces of furniture.  I ended up later buying more land and at one point owned about half of the region.

    The first two pictures show my cabin.  (Taken November 2014)

    Third Picture is my Castles that I built later.

    Fourth Picture is the area today.  (Cortina was mostly abandoned land for a long time).

    Why Can't There Be a Sign-up Sheet?

    Questions regarding Bellisseria Community

    My two cents ... ok .. maybe only one cent ...

    Bellisseria will be whatever the residents want it to be.  That has been show already by the people who have created pubs, community centers, brothels, and whatever else there already is.  As far as I go, I like to stay home, wader around and sight-see, boat and other stuff like that.  If people want to be social they will, if they want to gather they will, if they want to be a loner they will.  I don't think that LL has to try to build those things into Bellisseria.  

    I think that the Lindens and the Moles are doing an amazing job and look forward to everything they do.

    It also concerns me sometimes that people think they have more say in what should and will be done in Bellisseria.  We are only tenants using a perk of our premium membership and can always move on if there are things here we don't like.

    Trailer Life

    I have been working on some walls for my trailer but am having trouble with the textures for the"trim".  I am using the Laramie trailer and wanted to match the wood trim on my wall section.  I can't find any texture in the packs that seem to match.  Am I missing them?  Does anyone know if they are there?   Thanks for any help.

    Just starting to decorate a trailer - using the Shenandoah and trying to make it feel like a place we would go on vacation.  Keeping it simple so far.  Lots of stuff from Soy (I think I spent way too much today).  Also used a few things from the Content Creation Pack.  I'm sure I'll add more soon.

    Excuse the photo, I find it kinda hard to get good pics in smaller spaces.

    Problem with Bots on my Parcel

    The person stating that cannot be sure about the bots on Bellisseria. And, even if they are harmless, does not mean they are not annoying and an invasion of privacy.  If I had bots (harmless or not) showing up in my home while I was there I would be upset also.  They have no business TP'ing into someone's property.  The fact that LL seems to be doing something about them and they have stopped is a good thing.

    I prefer the body to still have the alpha cuts.  Most of my mesh clothing did NOT come with alpha masks and I am not interested in having to start making masks for all my mesh clothing.  I am hoping that all the bodies will give that option to the end-user.

    I've recolored the ceiling of the porch, the porch floor and added my own interior wood flooring. I've also  the Pro Paint interior system which has really been a huge help for decorating and tying color schemes in with each other room to room.

    I'm putting some finishing touches on the house now, have about 90 prims left to finish off the bedroom & upper hallway and add some clutter around so I *think* I'll be ok. 

    I agree this this house is going to make a fantastic Halloween home. I've begun doing an autumn theme and look forward to switching over to full blown spookiness in October!

    That little room on the back is wonderful.  Makes a great place for a kitchen.  I also love the wall in front of the house, not sure if that will work with my location, but may give it a shot after Halloween.  I have plans for the front for Halloween already.

    Why do we need a 'security system'?

    The basic flaw with the original question Why do we need a 'security system'? is the use of the word "WE"

    Everyone in SL is different, each of us has our own desires, needs and wants.  Why I might want a security system is very different from someone else's opinion.  So I don't think you will really get a good answer to that question. 

    As far as why "I" want/need a security system ... well ... that is nobody's business except my own.  If I choose to use a security system that is a choice that has been given to me by LL and I do choose to use one and have on all my properties for more than a decade.
