I downloaded new viewer and it doesn't let me in.

As you can see I can log into my acccount on the second life website, but not on the viewer. I have not changed my password at all.

Can you give us a detailed description of what happens when you try to go inworld?

It just saids it can't log me in. I made sure I typed the password correctly, it won't work. It's saying connection refused when I open it up before I log in.

I logged in with the old viewer just now, so there's nothing wrong with my account. There's something wrong with the viewer. .

Hmm, perhaps other people have had the same problem? Either stick with the version that works or find a thread that addresses your issue. I was going to suggest reinstalling Second Life in order to to do a fresh install of the viewer but I dunno.

Newer viewers tend to open more Internet connections than older ones because of different ways of handling profiles, etc. A common example is the helper ap "SLplugin.exe." Do you have a firewall? It may be blocking some of these connections.
