Question

Ok so ive already done a inworld report after i sent the owner the notecard explaining what happened. But ok if the resident hasnt been on in a really long time shouldnt they let other people take over so that when this kinda stuff happens people dont go crazy over not receiving their item?

I WANT my freaking shoes!

Eh.....if the resident hasn't been on for a long time, what is there to report?  Its hard to break the TOS without being online!

Report Abuse is found in the Help menu.

ETA: If you keep changing the contents of your thread, then the answers you receive will no make sense to you or the other people trying to help you.  Your initial question was how to report a merchant inworld.  Your edit makes it sound like a Marketplace purchase was not delivered, hence Rolig's answer.

It's a bit hard to understand what you are talking about, but it sounds like a Marketplace delivery issue maybe.  If you do not receive items within about 24 hours, you should cut and paste the information about a missing item from your Marketplace Order History and send it in a IM or notecard to the merchant, along with a polite message requesting redelivery.

Most merchants are very kind and willing to redeliver. This happens all the time and they are aware of it. Do be patient, though. Not everyone logs in to SL every day or checks their e-mail. Also, people go on vacation, have family emergencies, and have computer failures and many other disasters that make it difficult to respond as quickly as you might like.  Also, a merchant's "in box" can easily be clogged if he has been sent more than 25 items (or IMs or notecards) since his last login.  If you still haven't heard in another day or two, follow it up with a second polite note and finally, if you STILL haven't heard, file a support ticket at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ , selecting Marketplace from the pulldown menu.

If even that doesn't work in the end, take a deep breath (and maybe a Valium) and put it behind you. This is not a world-shaking disaster.  It's a pair of shoes.
