These basic shapes...cube, sphere, cylinder, etc...make up all the objects you see in Second Life. Sometimes it's important to know how many prims are in an object, because how many prims you can have on your land is determined by how big your land parcel is. In a Linden Home for example, you can set out objects that total up to 117 prims.
