Currently it's only forbidden to build them into the viewer itself. The scripts itself don't seem to be prohibited, but they may not work anymore at some point in time, if LL changes the function server-side.

According to the meeting, yes HUD will not be allowed too..They will simply kill the scipts for them anyhow..So they will not work anymore soon.

The meeting didn't say anything about HUDs. It was only about TPVs and the policy for TPVs and HUDs don't fall under that policy.

There is noting about the hud that is not allowed by LL.
The new TPV policy states that the viewer developers can not include the function in future releases and there was a mention of breaking the script that made these function BUT LL has decided to reconsider the script function change and for the time being they will leave it as it is.
