html5

Based on what I have been able to learn so far it appears that SL doesn't yet play nice with html5.

Is that correct or have I missed something?

In what kind? Second Life doesn't use HTML at all except you display websites with the internal web browser that is actually WebKit based.

I think this is a reference to media on a prim.

As an example you will get an error message if you try and play some sites output on a prim, saying that it is not html5 compatible.

VWR-24435 relates as of Jan 2011 and was marked "minor" - I tested today and it still seems to be an issue.

I used a sample video from youtube it was nothing special.
