Script to delete contents from a linked set of prims?

Hiya!

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask, but just wondering, is there some sort of script that will clear the contents out of a bunch of linked prims? as each prim has stuff in them and I don't want to go through each prim and delete the contents out of each because it will take me all night and I already accidentally deleted prims instead of just the contents... so if theres such a thing can someone point me to it? LOL

You can't delete inventory items from another prims inventory. You would have a script in each prim that deletes the inventory items - these scripts could be triggered from another prim's script.

When that is said I have a script that removes all scripts in a link set. It may easily be modified to remove all inventory

I do not know if it is possible to delete objects but there is a script in the library that will remove other scripts. You can try to edit it to objects. I cannot guarantee that it will work as i am not the creator.
