No Viewer Working

I've tried to install the basic SL viewer as well as Phoenix / Firestorm, and none of them will run. 

The last screen I get is Initializing VFS and then it crashes.

I run WoW and other MMORPGS just fine, so it seems to be just a Second Life issue on this particular computer.  I have tested it by installing SL on another (older/crappier) laptop, and it loads and runs just fine on that computer.

I have already done clean installs multiple times, and I have cleared out my roaming and local caches on this laptop and no luck.

Any other thoughts?

you may have a corrupt file.. have you tried to clean install...?

It would be helpful if you could provide us with some more info.   Type of PC, Operating System, CPU, RAM, Video Card installed.

I am having the same issue. I done a clean install multiple times. I downloaded the Viewer from a third party site and it worked until I had to install the most recent update. Laptop is HP dv6

Wow and MMORPGs are games so you can't compare them to SL.

Run pingtest.net in your browser against a server in San Francisco and check what ping, jitter and packet-loss you get.

Also tried on my desktop computer. Asus Mobo, NVidia 9800, 4GB of RAM and dont work either. Pingtest was fine
