the newest version of second life won't start on my computer, previous versions work. help?

I updated to the newest version, it was working just fine then one day it just quit... now SL won't even start up. nothing has changed on the computer... uninstalled and reinstalled SL.... any ideas? the computer acts as if it works on starting SL, but the moment anything should come up, it stops thinking and nothing comes up. any of the SL versions 3.x have started doing that sence the newest update. but the versions 2.x will start just fine, untill I'm forced to updated to 3.x. currently using 1.23.5 and working great

Nope, no ideas.  I have nothing to go on for any ideas.  This computer that nothing changed on would be a start.  Specs......jeeze I sound like a broken record.

Hello Tickledlion and welcome to SL Forums. Do you get an error message when you are trying to log in or just your screen freezes. Give more details about exactly what happens editing your post (Options --> Edit). However if you can't find a solution and assuming that the previous version (3.2.1) was working good for you, you can roll back to it.
