Unable to send or recieve IMs, etc. with newly-created alt

I created an alt a few days ago, and am having problems sending or receiving IMs, group invites, etc.  I am unable to send her a group invite from one of my other avatars so that she can be in the same group and have access the house.  I rented a condo for her... but am unable to receive the group tag.  I know that they're being sent, because I see the notification in e-mail.  Help!  : )  Thanks!

This sounds like a recent bug.  Try Muting/Blocking an avatar or an object with your alt.  She should then start receiving offline IMs and inventory offers.

The other solution around this bug is to log in both you and your alt at the same time.  The bug only seems to effect offline messages.  Select Allow Multiple Viewers in the Me - Preferences -  Advanced tab.

I have the exact same problem. In addition when i tried to transfer clothes from the old AV to the new one (while offline) only the notes and lms came through. The actual clothes seem to be lost. They were not returned to the old AV. There is no problem when I am logged in. Please help
