SLURLS

I been having issues using SLURLS not sure if its a setting on my computer or what but for the last few weeks I can't seem to get them to work. Any ideas?

I can't get mine to work, either. When I set Firefox to open the program, it opens a new instance of Firestorm.

You can copy and paste into the location bar at the top of the viewer and hit Enter.

Thank you for responding I tried to copy and paste but not sure what IM doing wrong it doesn't seem to let me paste it at the top can't even right click on the location bar.

Yes, same problem as Griffin.  Up to now i'd been opening an IM to an alt and pasting the SLURL in there,  but his method seems better.   :smileyhappy:

Hmmm. You don't have to right click. Just select the location that you're currently at (click and drag over the whole thing, like you were going to copy IT), and then paste over it (CTRL+V).

I get taken to the welcome page and invited to install SL, even if it's running at the time.

I just saw this or I would have answered it much sooner.  This jira suggests you install a 1.23 viewer... however, I fixed it by installing FS Beta version 2.5.2.16922.  Either way, you have to have the version of FS you want to use open before you click a slurl or it'll open the wrong one.

@Anyone who chooses to try this workaround and is using Firefox: In Firefox Options/Applications, set secondlife to Use Second Life (default).
