I just received a KindleFile.. Is there a app that will let me run SecondLife?

Hello AllieVanyar and welcome to SL Forums. I had no idea what KindleFire is (googled for it). For iphone you can use Pocket Metaverse or Sparkle IM, but i don't know if you can run them with your KindleFire. No. Second Life is a graphics-intensive program, and there is currently no way to use it on the kindle fire. There are some "viewers" for Android devices and iphones/ipads, but none for the kindle fire. Even the "viewers" that are for other mobile devices are not actual viewers, but message/chat clients that allow you to connect with your friends but not see the world.

Yes you can download the mobile client app from the amazon store (free)

it works but has a bug that leaves you naked to others veiwing you not good if you dont want to be banned

ive reported the bug to the app writer

meanwhile if you use it make sure your skin is PG

no, sadly there isn't, I have one too and I just had a quick look but if you go into"shop" and then apps you can have a look to see if there is but I've missed it.someone answered my question about this and said the our devices are not compatible.sorry.

I am westraven in second life and I currently only have access to the internet via my phone, kindle fire and a very small,very slow laptop. I've tried playing second life on the laptop. I visited a club and chatted a bit and had a frustrating time trying to move about sit down and stuff. The people I met were trying to help me. it was cool but I wish there was a way to interact like that on my Kindle.

Andorid App Lumiya would work on the Kindle fire if I could figure out how to side load it.
