Talarus Luan
I was working on a build with a tiny prim in it, and noticed that when I zoomed in on it, I zoomed through it. The "macro zoom" functionality seems to have disappeared. Now, I can't zoom in really close to inspect tiny prims, or edges of larger prims to check alignment. What I am referring to is where the Viewer's FoV angle is narrowed to make it appear like a macro zoom. You could see it on the mini-map where the view highlight angle would narrow as you zoomed in.Is there a setting to fix it, or is it now the latest victim of "ProductEngine's Feature Delete"? Chosen Few
It seems the nearclip plane is now set too far from the camera. I've scoured the debug settings, and there doesn't appear to be any way to adjust the nearclip. You can set the farclip, of course, as that's what we commonly refer to as "draw distance" in SL. But the nearclip seems to be non-adjustable. I'd suggest filing a JIRA on this.
Void Singer
near clip may be disabled... I forget the setting but it has to do with stopping the camera from being affected by walls
Bubba Biberman
Use Ctl-0 (top row) to zoom in. Ctl-9 to return to normal view.
Talarus Luan
That works. Thanks Bubba! Now I guess it is time to file a JIRA to get it fixed so that it works with the regular zoom again.
