As announced in the Grid Status Reports yesterday, LL was performing maintenance in the billing service area last night.  Residents were advised: "During that maintenance, Residents will not be able to update their payment information or purchase L$."  If you tried buying L$ while that maintenence was underway, that could be the source of your problem.  The best way to find out now is to call and ask.  LL's billing team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
