Magee OHare
for the past 3 days i have been having issues logging in after the most recent update. I get to the log in page and it goes til it says logging into world and then it just grinds until it says SL not responding. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and still nothing. Any help? LoveAngeL Lyre
Hello Magee and welcome to SL Forums. First thought... did you try to log in a different region? Protected lands like Smith, Lime or Pooley are recommended. You will not resolve the issue with un(re)-installation.

LoveAngeL Lyre
We haven't an announcement for problems in world this moment in http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ We had earlier rolling restarts but they have been completed now. Clear your cache under your preferences and try again to log in. Try also temporarily to set lower your performance under your preferences and graphics tab. If the problem remains, power down your modem / router leting it closed for 1-2 mins, restart your computer, power on and try again. See if that makes any difference. Marigold Devin
Which viewer are you using, Magee? It sounds like your computer is not liking the latest update. Try installing a different version, or one of the approved Third Party Viewers. (If you prefer a Viewer 1.23 code viewer, Phoenix is great, or if you get along better with Viewer 2, Firestorm will be better for you.) http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Alternate_Viewers http://www.phoenixviewer.com/downloads.php
