I got an "object failed to rez" error and now it's missing

I attempted to rez an Intan couples dance ball (fully stocked, very expensive to replace) and got a message that the object failed to rez.  Normally when that happens, the object is still in my inventory.  But this time it's not, and for sure it's not on the property either as I know the prim count exactly and I even asked my landlord to look for it.  I know the exact name of the object and it's not in my inventory either.

I cleared cache and relogged, no help there.  I logged on to the beta grid and did the same, also no luck.

How can I get my (expensive) object back?

File a support ticket with Linden Lab and explain the problem.  Sometimes they can solve inventory problems at their end that are not solvable on your end.  However, this is not a sure thing.  Be aware that you may have to accept the loss, in the end.

Also, go to coordinates 0,0,0 in the region and look for it there.  Sometimes lost objects wind up at the sim origin.
