Hello aen24 and welcome to SL Forums. If rebaking and character test didin't work, try to clear manually your cache deleting all contests at the following folders having the viewer closed:

C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife and

C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife

If you have more that 1 viewers installed in your computer, you must to do it for all following the same paths in your hard disk.

For example C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer

(If you clear your cache manually you will lose all your private conversations which are saved in your computer. To avoid it copy the folder with your username in the folder Secondlife in another position in your hard disk.)

After that, restart your computer and  log in back in a protected land like Smith for example. If you can't select a different region, in your log in screen give the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Enable "Show on login" --> OK.  After click the down arrow where it says "Start at" and choose <Type region name> --> Smith --> Login. Stay there under the water, open your inventory, write something in search there and wait fetching ALL your items till the last one. During this process (downloading), avoid to do something else like teleporting, chatting, moving etc. When fetching finishes, try to change outfit, choosing one with just the necessary stuff (skin, shape, hair, eyes, pants and shirt) without any attachments. Good luck.

well, I'd clear cache, but also change a few settings in prefs before restart... lower graphics settings (can re-up them after restart) - set groups to none active... bump up your bandwidth a bit - if it's still at default 500, same with cache, raise it just a bit... (this is where you need to know how fast your connection is - but there is a point of adjusting connection speed and cache size that can slow things down, even if you have blazing internet speeds).

Anyhow, main thing is to get you and immediate surroundings rezzed, 9 out of 10 times it's simply cache clearing for me, and reducing graphics for a bit.

Someone posted the (yeah it works) idea of swapping something simple, like shoes or a hat... that has worked for me too.

Hope some of this helps!
