My item is not listed when it should be

Why can't I see my listing on the home page and the category landing page in the Marketplace after paying for them to appear?

I've also seen the same items display over and over every time on the home and category page. What's up with that?

You may be the victim of statistics.  LL rakes in a lot of cash from people who pay for special placement, and there are a LOT of people doing it.  LL can't display all of the ads at once, though, so your ad might zip across the screen one time out of 50.  If you don't happen to log in to the site during that one time, you don't see it.  I made the personal decision ages ago to spend my advertizing budget on other things.
