Sound gestures?

I have uploaded some sounds I have made and was wondering. When I play them, do others around me hear them or do I need to somehwo forst load them into a gesture program?

For others to hear them you need to put the sounds in gestures.  Here is some information on making them.

How are you playing them now?

If by scripted-object or gesture then, yes, they're heard by everyone in range.

If you are double-clicking them in your inventory then the pop-up 'play' window should have options for "Play Locally" (only you hear it) or "Play In World" (everyone hears it)

I double click it from my inventory and have both options, play localy or play inworld, so you are saying if i choose play inworld then i do not need to make a gesture for everyone to hear it? Although I do want to start making gestures.

Exactly - that's the difference between the two options.  Locally is there so you can check and test a sound without annoying everyone else, in-world is there so you can play it to everyone else.
