Are there restrictions on over sized (mega prims) and undersized (tiny prims)? What are they?

Are these, so to speak legal in SL? I'd like to actually read the policy (links please) if there is one. Does these cause lag?

You can build up to 64m, however keep in mind that there might be a restriction on a particular sim set by the landowner and you must respect those. Some people don't like mega prims on their sims because there is the belief that they lag, however this has never been proven to be true.

The Covenant in the Knowledge Base for Linden Homes needs to be re-written, since it doesn't take into account that with the current Viewer 3.0 and the roll-out of Mesh, the "standard build tools" now supports prims up to 64 Meters in any dimension. So larger than 10 M prims should be allowed now in Linden Homes, but some mention should be made about not encroaching on neighbors lane with those larger prims.
