I am told I cannot access SL from this computer

I am trying to log on to SL and I am told that I "cannot access second life from this computer".  I haven't done anything wrong and I haven't received anything from LL.

 

Can anyone please help me.  There is someone else who uses secondlife that lives here but they use their own computer but it is the same internet connection.  They can get on their account though.

There are many reasons why you might get that message. Yes, you may have been suspended or banned. If so, you should have received an e-mail explaining why. Your account may also have been put on hold temporarily for an administrative reason -- maybe someone else at your IP address has been using it for phishing or other unauthorized purposes. It is also very possible that the block has been placed completely by mistake. In any case, the only people who can take your account off hold again are at Linden Lab.
