How can I place an object off sim?

How can I place an object off sim? I bought an object for that, and don't know how to do it. Thanks

If it already is made to be offsim this object will have a root prim which remains on the sim. Just rezz the object inside the sim and then drag it out, you will see the root prim highlighted in yellow.
