A friend of mine had a ball with a script in it that would send a pop up letting her know some one was at a place, it also sent to the others that were on staff. The item was returned to the person who placed it and now can not get a hold of them to put it back.

The script would notify the owner and those that are staff when some one enter the parcel. With a pop up in the upper corner (uses Pheonix) Saying XYZ has entered ABC parcel at HJK time.

The ones I have found on Market place only talk to the owner and sends an IM, which gets cluttered.

Any suggestions would be helpful thank you.

A device like that is very easy to script, but it's a real pain to have in your shop unless it's a very quiet place.  You and your staff can get spammed a lot. If you really want to write something like that, though, you just need to create a list of your group's UUIDs, set a trigger (touch, collision, sensor, whatever) to detect  visitor, and then IM each member of your group with the visitor's name, location, and time.

The Scripting forum is meant as a place for scripters to learn from each other. It's not really a place to look for scripts. If you are looking for someone to write a script for you, the best place to ask is in the Inworld Employment section of the Commerce Forums (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inworld-Employment/bd-p/InworldEmployment). If you are looking for a script that already exists, try Marketplace or the LSL Scripting Library (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/LSL-Scripting-Library/bd-p/LSLScriptingLibrary) or the Wanted section of the Commerce forums (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Wanted/bd-p/Wanted). You will have much better luck.

IF you are interested in trying to write it yourself, however, we'd be more than happy to point you in the right direction with a description of exactly how it worked.

there are several similar scripts available for free on the LSL Portal in the wiki, but I suspect there isn't an example of the specific one you seem to be describing.
