Aurelia Chauveau Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 Hi Not sure if this is the correct forum but I've recently had problems with the SL Viewer. One day I logged on and everything that wasn't land, sky or my avatar appeared as black. So I uninstalled and installed an older viewer - and recently when I logged in it said there was a viewer that had to be installed so I installed it hoping the issue would be solved but it isn't :(I've attached a picture. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or should I try a 3rd party viewer?Thanks for any help.Aurelia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyway, disabling Basic Shaders in Preferences > Graphics should fix it but it's not really a very good workaround. I suggest you try the 2.8 beta available from the main Download page and try it, go back to 2.7.2 available here http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/2.7.2 or try Phoenix Firestorm.
