I have SL for 2 days and I can't go anywhere, Why?

I have Second Life for 2 days and I'm stuck in some snow place. I wanna teleport somewhere but when I click on 'teleport' it say's ''You're not allowed in that region due to your maturity Rating.''
What should I do, how to fix this?

It's boring here 'cause I'm alone and I wanna meet someone new. I wanna go in some city, in a bar or beach. Anywhere where people's are!

usuualy it does tht wen your not old enough to go to the places like the birthda you put is to young for it to go to say a place that is moderate or adult so then you can only go to general

Check two things.  Launch your viewer, at the bottom of the screen near the "Log In" button you'll see a button labeled "Mode".  If it says "Basic", change it to "Advanced".  Log out and then log back on so the change will take effect.  When you get to your log in screen again go to the "Me" menu and click on preferences.  On the "General" tab you'll see a section that says "I want to access" (or something very similar) and you should see three small multi-colored buttons "G", "M", "A".  Click them all if you want to access all the areas in SL and you are age verified (if you are not age verified, the "A" button will not be available).  Log in and you should be able to TP anywhere you want.

First of all you need to make sure that you have Mature (Moderate) at least set in your Preferences. So hold down Ctrl and press the letter P. There should be a drop down box (or maybe some check boxes as viewers are different) to let you choose the maturity rating you want. Make sure that if you CAN to set that to include Moderate.  If you cannot change that box, then you must be too young to go to the "mature - moderate" places and will need to stick to the sims rated for everyone.

 The sims bordering that area are all GENERAL rated so you can fly around and explore a bit also.
