Clothes not Loading...no way to replace

Hello, I've tried looking everywhere for solutions to my clothing not loading error, and so far nothing has worked.

For about a week now, whenever I log in, my clothes fail to load.  When I try to replace my entire outfit with a generic avatar, or putting on new clothing individually, it won't let me, and just gives me an error saying my clothes haven't loaded yet.

I've tried different viewers, clearing all the cache, reinstalling the game, switching computers, and nothing is working.  To other players, my clothing looks fine, but my body shape is wrong.

Anyone have any other ideas?  I can't change anything about my avatar now because of this error.

You can reset your avatar. You will look like a newbie again, but after that you can build up your avatar using all the skins and clothes you have in your inventory.

In viewer 1 based software: advanced / character/ character test/ test female or test male.

Maybe try deleting everything in your SL Avatar folder on your computer. good luck

I wasn't aware that there was a folder called SL Avatar, I'd be interested to know where it is and what deleting everything in it would accomplish. Is this something you've done that actually worked?

Raises hand... same problemo.. once ahhh 2 weks back.. even sometimes now.. if puter is lagging..clean up computer.. chek the memory, also hop on a differnt viwer.. Hippo (3rd party viewer) was lagging so went to firestom and forced rezzing...

This issue recently happened to me too.  Twice now.  Once I was able to do the base avatar reset and it worked.  This time I have tried that (twice), switched to three different viewers on two different computers.  On my screen I appear dressed in what I put on and my inventory says I am wearing it but to everyone else the only things that show up are prims.  Hair, shoes, and maybe a piece of a skirt or bow.  I've cleared cache and all the normal things you might try.  As of today I've been naked for almost two days.  Hard to enjoy your time when you can't really go anywhere.
