Log in error

I'm having trouble logging into Second Life. Everytime I press the launch button for second life I get the code 0xc00000ld and it says the program fails to initialize. I'm not sure if I downloaded the new version of Second Life yet because its been about 2 years since I played. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, My computer was purchased in Fall of 2005, So should I just which viewers? Because right now I have windows XP. Do you think something like Mozilla would work?

That error message comes up if you are trying to run SL on an old computer with a CPU instruction set that does not support SSE2.  Almost all computers sold since about 2004 meet that standard.  One of the most recent upgrades to LL's servers made SSE2 compatability mandatory.
