The Lab does all it can, but just like anti-virus software if the user does something silly the griefer wins. In SL you never accept things from people you do not know. You don't sit on things in places you don't know. If you want an animation, buy it or find it in a freebie store. Merchants have too much to lose to grief you. So, stores have some level of safety.
