My magic box wont update my inventory!

I'm having an issue with marketplace, I had to clear out my xstreet box to change all the LM's in my boxes but when i refresh my marketplace inventory all the stuff is still there so I cant delete it and put all the new stuff into the magic box! anyone know what I can do to fix it?

 

I did this yesterday and was going to put everything back up today, but I don't want to do it till my marketplace inventory is empty. I have made sure the magic box is in the right group, I brought a new one (in case it got updated or something) and I have clicked the Sync my magic box button a few times with no luck and I have also rest the magic box in world agaiin with no luck.. Any help would be greatly appreciated :))

Maybe put the new items in the magic box, but rename them slightly. Then when you synch with your marketplace inventory, see do you still see 2 sets of boxes, or just your renamed ones.

That was a great suggestion I never would have thought of trying that, I did try but sadly it didn't work. I think I will just wait till tomorrow and if it still hasn't synced with my magic box so i can remove all the old ones I will just rename everything slightly and put it in the box and when it finally does register that I will remove all the old ones..... if that makes any sense lol! Once you delete the items from your box and sync with marketplace you have to delete the items manually on the marketplace too

Probably the easiest way to do what you want to do is to make new product boxes with your new landmark and products. Rename them something similar to the old product names maybe with a new VERSION NUMBER. So "Cityscape Surround 64 x 64" becomes "Cityscape Surround 64 x 64 v1.4". Put the new boxes into your existing Marketplace Magic Box and resync.

 

Then go to your item listings and find the boxes you want to change. EDIT the listing and under "SL OBJECT NAME" click the box that says "Edit Associated Object". Find your NEW item and associate it with the old listing.

 

This keeps you from having to redo it ALL --- BORING and tedious job -- and saves lots of time.

 

Be sure and change your "see in world" SLURL while you are editing .

 

When all the new listings are up, you can go into your Magic Box and delete the ones you no longer need (optional but a good idea). You will then need to get rid of the listings on the Marketplace too. They will most likely show up as "unavailable".

even if you delete the delivery boxes from your magic box that doesn't clear out your inventory list on the marketplace. they are there because your items are listed. they will eventually show up as unavailable because your magic box is empty, but once you have put back the delivery boxes it will show up again.

the only thing you need to do is delete the old lm from the boxes, put the new ones in and swap the boxes with new landmarks with the old ones in your magic box, and synch marketplace with magic boxes.

no need to rename them. and - it is against mp tos to relist, so do not delete the listings you have and set them up again just because you swapped a landmark in the delivery boxes.
